The Desolate Hope is a piece of shit. It's janky, has several difficulty walls, the JRPG bossfights clutter the screen in a fucking stunning amount of visual noise, switches genres too often, and the best parts of the game are just too short. Despite all of that though, I still really like it. It's really interesting and unique. Maybe even a little touching.
There's never going to be another game quite like it. That's probably a good thing, but I'm still really glad I played.

I've been playing Tropico 6 and so far it's much better then 5 but it still feels very hollow compared to Tropico 3/4. There is no comfy radio playing constantly anymore, they don't announce new buildings anymore, "combat" in it still sucks and the new trade route system sucks. Sure it's not as easy to break the economy as previous games (In fact I'm mostly hovering around zero) but my main complaint is citizen happiness is broken as fuck. After elections I had to raise entertainment values because I promised it from 45 to 57. I put literally so many fucking entertainment buildings down that I literally ran out of room and I STILL failed by one point. Balancing relationships is a ball-ache too since if you upset any of them it instantly plummets your approval rating. I really want to like it but everything is just so tedious.

I was excited because a bunch of my old friends started playing XIV again, and brought over a bunch of new people from WoW. Everyone is competent and shows up on time, it's great.
Except our sense of humor, leisure activities, and culture in general is completely different, so we wind up having to be on pins and needles around each other. I can't crack jokes involving casual racism (Saying I jew on the market board was too much for some people), laugh at stoners, and politics are getting brought in on the regular now. Reddit memes are posted regularly, along with unironic fedora tier Rick and Morty memes. While I don't care what they do in their spare time, I always feel like I'm just a hair away from having a bunch of them throw in the towel because I said something off-hand that got their panties in a bunch.
The group I really enjoy playing with is off in DotA, but they play literally no other game. I wish I could import them literally anywhere else.

Cave Story is my favorite game ever and I wish it were more popular in general.
At least a good half of why I want Quote playable in Smash is just for more recognition for the game or for cute crossover art between it and the other robots in the game.

Yoshi Crafted is alright, the crafted aesthetic is quite pleasing. level design is simple but satisfying. Controls are standard yoshi controls, which are good enough. however the soundtrack is fucking ear poison I wanted to mute it immediately. overall Its a solid C on the letter grade
