cinematic open world battle royale souls only on stadia

dark souls 4 . I regret not buying dark souls 3 on release day. Seeing all the pvp videos coming out on youtube made me feel like a missed out.

King's Field V

The only Correct Response

An actual RPG. They do a great job creating lore and building worlds, although most of it is done so indirectly and subtlety. I think a game with typical FromSoftware combat and lore, with direct story telling would be amazing.

Dark Souls 4 using what they learned from 3, BB and Sekiro to try and really bring the combat to a new level. Also no fast-traveling until much later in the game, utilizing shortcuts as the primary way to get from place to place like god intended

Would be swell if they dropped the molasses camera movement.

I 100% believe we're going to see an Otogi successor now that Sekiro has happened.

Picture sekiro, but with really aerial based combat and air dodging and alot of air game.

Basically a fusion of how Armored Core plays + Dark Souls is what they're doing next.

It'll have some kind of anti gravity combat where you can hover/float/stay in the air. Or, it's this but it's set under the ocean Wind Waker style with some kinda weird pirate theme.

Tenchu wasn't even From's game, it was a game they made like one entry in or published or some shit. Otogi was 100% their creation and even had a Moonlight sword in it so it's 100% Fromsoft Canon.

tl;dr just like DeS was a homeage to Kings Field, just like Bloodborne was a homeage to Shadow Tower, just like Sekiro is a homeage to Kuon and Tenchu, we're going to get a homeage to Otogi next

Also the next Armored Core will be more Metal Wolf than the previous ones

A new KF would definitely have to be faster and not use their stupid tank control scheme (I understand why it exists, but it's been obsolete for like 20 years).

Otogi simply was not a good game on any level except aesthetics, which were god-tier.

ARMORED CORE

we need a revival in mecha games

We are already getting one

legit thought this was gonna be a troll url

Sekiro.

I see you're only showing the bad games

A game taking place in Aldrich's age of the deep seas.

Basically Dark Souls meets Wind Waker where you sail to different dungeons.

Maybe throw a secret cthulhu in there somewhere to keep the bloodborne fags happy.

The deep was just the age of dark, the Cathedral just misinterpretted it because they were lorelets who thought the age of dark could only be a bad thing. So when they intereacted with its warm, comforting qualities, they couldn't help but understand it as something other than the abyss.
There is no actual ocean or sea or anything.
I'd be fine with From making an original IP with that idea though.

>The deep was just the age of dark, the Cathedral just misinterpretted it because they were lorelets who thought the age of dark could only be a bad thing.

The vision came directly from Aldrich.
He had dreams of a deep sea as he was slowly eating Gwyndolin

I'd like to see the narrative-focused game Miyazaki has been talking about recently, in a greek/roman-style mythology setting and the plot involves killing deities.

Now that they have the universe built up they should assemble a team probably.

Cutesy rhythm game (that somehow incorporates summoning/invasion mechanics)

1. transhuman horror sci-fi game where your "respawn" is being 3D printed and your memories being downloaded to a terminal
2. conquistador souls with mesoamerican mythical monsters and a highly in-depth combat system like Sekiro, but adapted for plate armor

>1. transhuman horror sci-fi game where your "respawn" is being 3D printed and your memories being downloaded to a terminal
Literally bioshock

>conquistador souls with mesoamerican mythical monsters
kino
although I'm not sure how much variety there is in mesoamerican monsters. all I know about is chupacabras and quetzacoatls

Don't think Bioshock, think Blame! or a darker version of Ghost in the Shell.

The Soulsborne and Armored Core have been nothing but pure and unadulterated grimdark depressing nihilistic grimdarkness. How about something more goofy, light hearted, and CUHRAYZEE?

I personally don’t care but I would be shocked if their next game doesn’t feature a good amount of guns.

Something new again. I didn't like Sekiro, but it was still a good departure from what they'e been doing. Keep making new things and see if they can make something else great.

why is everything an homage to something else? Must everything be observed in reference to other things? Are you so much of a brainlet that you can't abstract ideas on their own? I bet you use food analogies.

If it's a souls thread I assume you mean something you would like to see akin to those games from fromsoftware in which case BB2 or a demon souls remaster mostly so that the online component is revived

what's next is already confirmed

Soulsborne already is pretty goofy and doesnt take its self too seriously
