>ever owning a 3ds and not just waiting for citra

I still playing gba.

Yes, I'm playing Fire Emblem Fates Birthright (On Lunatic Classic). Finished Chapter 23 today.

Recommend me some good games to play on my 3DS and I might.

>not owning the best handheld that can play any old school system worth a shit.
DUDE PHONES LMAO

>waiting almost a decade to play 3ds games

Well I don't really give a shit about nintendo or any of its games, so it worked out just fine.

3DS is one of the best portables out now debate me
>has games
>can emulate DS and GBA perfectly
>when hacked can emulate even MORE consoles
>last pure portable Nintendo will probably ever make for a while
my only problem was with it is that it is somewhat weak to the hardware

I bought an used old3ds
Is it normal for the battery to last me barely five hours or so? I don't even turn on the 3D

>tfw you payed $250 for one on release and all you could play was SF4
Worth it.

Monster Hunter came out for Switch so no I don't play the hand crippling eye strain machine any more. When I did I'd have to use input redirection to play with a controller and stream the video to my pc.

I recently just used it to play the DGS translation but besides that it’ll sit and collect dust until the DGS2 translation is finished.

>just beat Boss Rush 9.0 on Kid Icarus Uprising last week

granted I stopped playing the game for a few years but FUCK it was so satisfying

I only used it as an Atlus machine and waiting on PQ2

>Soul Hackers
>SMTIV/Final
>Etrian Odyssey
>PQ
>Devil Survivor 1/2
>Strange Journey

great posts faggot

Yeah, for SMT and strategy games mostly

Yep. Just finished Ultra Sun pokemon league. I also waste my time making a shitload of custom themes and uploading them on themeplaza.

I still need to play Dillon’s Deadheat breakers

no. the resolution is so fucking terrible

Of course, the system has a massive library with the ability to natively play DS games as well combined with its emulation potential. Honestly, the only reason to not own a hacked 3DS is you have a hacked PS Vita and emulate everything on that instead.

Yeah I was playing SMT DeSu 2 yesterday

Ya like Atlus games because there’s a fuck ton on this system

Yes, it has a good library. Was just playing WarioWare Gold a bit ago.

Animal Crossing baby!!

Same except when it was an MH 4 and Animal Crossings Machine
Outside of that just an Atlus machine really

Maybe

I have had bravely default sitting on my shelf for 4 years now after I played 2 hours and dropped it. I picked it up again and played 10 hours today, holy shit I didn't realize it was such a fun game.

Yes

I use it to play DS games

Since I recently modded it yeah

Anyone have any good recommendations for younger players. I want to buy a new game for my little nephews (I bought them both a 2DS with New Super Mario 2 on them) for this past Christmas and they finally beat the games so I wanted to get them something new. Not sure what though. I don't want to give them another Platformer, I want to give them variety in game genres. So no Mario, Kirby, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong. What else would be simple enough that a -10 year old would understand and enjoy? A Pokémon game maybe? Or would all the text in the newer games be too much for them? Any suggestions anons?

bro the psp has been out since like 2005

You could introduce them to Zelda with A Link Between Worlds, OoT and MM 3D or Triforce Heroes. There's also Star Fox 3D, Metroid Samus Returns and Kid Icarus as good alternatives. I wouldn't recommend RPGs unless it's maybe Bravely Default or Mario & Luigi, since most of the better RPGs in the console are from Atlus and they can all be a bit unforgiving.

Miitopia is literally baby's first jrpg, but surprisingly fun.
Tomodachi life also pretty fun.

yes, im currently taking a break from EOV but yeah

its in a drawer where it waits for me to get the urge to play more SMT apocalypse and flute man

yep
just finished usum and added the final few pokemon to my living dex
it was a fun experience, but probably not one that i'd replay

A random vintage toy store just so happened to have a compete set of those transparent Japanese 2DSes with the Pokémon VC games, so I got the Blue one for half for using gift cards and proceeded to hack it. Outside of that, I need to make time to put Great Ace Attorney on it now that the fan translation is done

My 3DS didn't get much use after the first couple years. It was mainly a Pokemon machine. Still had fun though but I felt like it was time to move on.

I got CFW on my 2ds and I dont know what to even do with it

Any good flashcarts that'll run GB/GBC/GBA without issue? Don't want to cfw / hack my Samus N3DS XL ty

If they''re a moralfag that didn't jump into the CFW train, I can see them feeling the console is kinda weak.

Yes. Still don't have Switch and want to finish my huge 3ds backlog, especially with Japan-only games.
I didn't think of it much before but in hindsight it has quite an impressive catalog of games.

Can I run ds games without a flashcart? I already have homebrew and roms from gba and sega.

iirc theres TWloader
