I recently started playing Game of Dice again. It's basically anime monopoly and a ton of fun when you're not getting fucked for half your money. I honestly don't know if I can recommend it anymore though since it's undergone hardcore escalation from what it used to be and is probably a lot harder for new players to get into.

I don't know much but the gameplay is pretty much the same and the story is really nice. No rerolls since you get characters as part of the story or events and the only thing you really roll for are weapons.

They did, I read an article on it earlier. You get wyrmprints and dragons through a different currency and low drop rates from missions or whatever. I think you also get the currency from dupes with high rarities giving you more. Basically they split the heroes from the other bullshit. I'd go back to if the controls weren't so awful.

It's fucked. They've been fixing it for two months now so there is almost zero new content or events.

Like I said, I can't really speak to it nowadays, but I've never spent a dime on it yet I've got pretty good cards. You can pay to get the best stuff obviously, but it's rare that I've felt completely hopeless against a whale. And RNG doesn't discriminate over whose day it wants to ruin.

I'd tentatively recommend giving it a try. It really is quite fun doing a back and forth cat and mouse thing, laying traps and avoiding them, cursing the dice when it doesn't go your way and watching the numbers get higher and higher. Even when I lose I can appreciate getting outplayed.

I've been playing Epic Seven for a month now.
Really good gacha, but the gacha rates are just as bad as FGO, if not worse.
Kinda makes me wish I never started to begin with but its too late now.

Moderate. Half of the games most powerful units are only available from grindable in game currency. They also shower you with premium currency at the get go. The rates aren't that great though. Anecdotally for instance, I have 4 of the games most powerful units released on the global server so far without spending a single cent.

One of the neat things about this game is that just about every unit will be useful at something somewhere even the shit tier 3* ones. Some maps are easier if you bring a unit with a stun, or the enemies are arranged in a pattern that makes some other unit attack them all at once, etc.

In Azur Lane you can go far with pretty much whatever characters you wanna use, but if you really want the best then look for the ones with skills that boost their damage dealing.
Also try to level up a second fleet as well cuz thats a must for later stages.

Dx2 isn't worth playing really. Its rolls are dumb since the 5* are super low and you're expected to get a good archtype for them too if you want them to be viable. Last time I played it before I dropped it, it barely had any content and it's PVP is full of whales.

The story is lame. It just boils down to you, the Liberators being the good guys and Acolytes doing super dumb bad guy shit despite being servants of god. The story wasn't even compete during the time I was playing it and alignment worked as in law being a nice guy vs your protag being a coward or dick which made no sense. The only upside is how nice the 3d models looked.

Azur Lane is pretty alright since it's generous with SR drops and works mostly as a character collection game. Outside of its limited character event drops, I'd rec it.
If you're looking for strategy though, I heard Brown Dust is pretty good. It came out last month too.
