If you want to know how the hack was done the group said that they put a backdoor in an Epic's store server that use used to check and authenticate if you are online when turning the launcher on to connect to epic servers. This means they could see the ip addresses of anybody who logs into epic and with an ip you can find out the general place of where people live.
Right now they are trying to blackmail a bunch of twitch streamers and they are selling epic accounts online.

Was thinking of something like this, but maybe turn the burner into some elaborate disinfo for Chinks. Something like falsified secret docs that if Chinks really hack emails through Epic and they use the fake and potentially damaging info, you'd not only know that Chinks do it but you also do damage to the Chinks if they acted upon it (international incident levels of trolling). You saturate the Internet with so much fake secret info that their hackers and intelligence would lose their effectiveness and get them into all sorts of trouble leading to some major shitshow down the line.
