Only games I can think of is the "Shadow of the Beast" series, where you play as a guy who used to be human but an evil wizard transformed him into a monster when he was a baby and made him his servant. One day you regain your memories and decides to seek revenge.
From what I have heard, the original games are pretty for their time but have shit gameplay. No idea about the remake.
