Basically all this. It was old and new at the same time, it was just generally well executed in terms of atmosphere and tone and it was extremely conducive to sharing and discussion.
It's one of my favorite stories in gaming, desu. Dude that's about to give up on the industry takes one more shot and succeeds beyond his wildest dreams.
