DONTNODs only accomplishment until now has been LiS, Vampyr was absolutely unbearable to play and a solid 6/7 out of 10 all round, I heavily doubt they'll ever make a sequel for it since other than (((YouTube))) shills it was a massive flop
and their new game in development seems to be some sort of spiritual successor to hellblade

I liked it but it's hard to recommend, game's a mess of conflicting design choices. Got to the end without eating anyone and Reid started going on about how he's not taken a life since his sister, and I'm flashing back to the hundreds of cockney vampire hunters I was forced to slaughter just to interact with the environment

I enjoyed it a lot. Playing judge, jury, and vampyrcutioner with the civilians was satisfying. Combat was meh, but had cool effects.

The setting, writing, and voice acting were all 9 or 10.
But it played pretty badly mechanics wise. Maybe a 7 overall.
If they deliver better mechanics to go with the top fucking notch writing/voice work I'm excited for a sequel.
But they're up against Bloodlines 2, so ehhh.

Game is barely an RPG with the way the developers constantly arbitrate the character's morality every single step of the way. If you kill more than five people in a single playthrough (and most of the people you want to kill will be off limits, because DONTNOD wasn't even hiding their SJW agenda) you automatically get the bad ending. There is literally zero roleplaying in this game. It's just a binary decision of having fun with the vampiric powers or just being a boring reluctant creature of the night.
