Shiki does more in Week 1 than Kairi does in her entirety, Sora has seriously stagnated as a character compared to someone like Neku, and the writing is riddled up with retcons and plotholes up the ass.

IIRC, if you use Mingle and come across another player doing the same, you can access that player's shop, which consists of what the player's characters were equipped with at the time. Dude how are you not overpowered by that point? You should always be playing on at least hard and at least 5 or more levels lower to get pins. Doesn't take much grinding if you evolve your pins right, eat good food, and git gud. By the end you should have a deck that's super powerful. I was halfway through week 3, on hard, every fight barely scratching me well past 10 lvls lowered.

What I found that helped the most was having 3 decks, one for mingle one for standby one for battle. Switching to standby when im done playing, and turning mingle on when I need to evolve some mingle pins. You get crazy pins when you really focus on the evolution charts, comparing my current build to the one i had my first playthrough of all battle evolutions is like night and day. Mingle pins especially are wild.

Funny, I actually did the same thing. Was able to net a lot of pins during the game that way, which make 100% it more of a cakewalk. Fuck Anguis tho, man, pain in the ass to level up.

If someone remotely cares, I'm the guy that asked what did the japanese version say when the western version says "The World Begins with You" at the end, since the japanese title isn't "The World Ends with You" but "It's a Wonderful World"
I checked and apparently they put the same exact message as the western version but the japanese part is unchanged, the only difference is that the english title bellow the japanese one goes from "ends" to "begins" so in that sense it looks like if the full title was "It's a Wonderful World - The World Ends with You" and then changed to "It's a Wonderful World - The World Begins with You"

What do I think? The DS version is the only true version. TWEWY had a pretty cool concept with battle where you control Neku on the bottom screen via touch screen, and his current partner on the top screen with the D-pad. Getting rid of that removes something I thought was pretty unique to TWEWY. If they make a port/remaster that can recreate that somehow, then I'd be cool with it. But I'll be sticking to the DS version.
