Argonia pulled out of the Empire first; before the High Elves did, their ex-slave armies use nothing but their unbridled rage and their own hands to wipe out well trained, armed, experienced Dark Elven Armies; all they could do was stem the tide and re-take the sacked & burnt capital; the Dark Elves could not retake their own land in their own homeland

They are based, getting revenge on all who've wronged them; whilst truely staning on their own feet. Not like the Imperials with their endless ape legions, or the Khajit who suck on altmer teats, or the Dark Elves who had 3 literal gods propping up their misbegotten race.

The Elder Scrolls series is dead! Bethesda will continue to run it further into the ground with their refusal to create something from the ground up. Beyond that, the lore they choose to embrace is the shittiest, most simplified bottom-tier mythology present in the game. They will never ever embrace the juicier bits of the world that make it so great, they'll just make a clunky awkward game with an incredibly simplified version of a region's lore. Get ready for every race to be the HoonDing, or get ready for every race to participate in the Wild Hunt. Bethesda really doesn't give a shit.

They've always rewritten the world to suit their inability to make a game. Cyrodiil was supposed to be a fucking jungle. As it is they're writing that the giant migrating trees of valenwood have abruptly rooted themselves. You just know they're going to stay that way if there's a valenwood game, because there's no way the shitty programmers at Bethesda could make giant walking tree cities work on their garbage antiquated engine. They won't bother figuring out why, either. I usually prefer fur over scales, but something in the details with Bethesda's races makes the Argonians look better to me.

I tried, game died in like two hours because I was using the Special Edition so not everything was compatible and some mods required other mods which didn't work with SE and it was just a cluster fuck but I'm sure you can do it.
