You mean in the official server? I don't know much. I believe it's dying a little and the new weapons didn't help much. And almost if not all of the players here think it's under appreciated for today's shooter market indeed. It's a shame because the learning curve and the philosophy of the game/community are great but I don't think it could resonate well within gamers today

I hate facing katanas, but I wholeheartedly agree that it needs a buff. As I don't remember who stated, we only notice the range when we're facing them but it's a really complicated weapon to use in practice. It's slow, has weak hits on top of making you a real easy target, even moreso than the bat or the plasma sword.
