in other news an automated mod installer has just been released. for all the people who have always wanted a big modded game to download and install and just start playing, this doesn't do that. but it is close.
>. Not only automate the installation process of modpacks, but do so in a respectful manner — with consideration of the respect that each author in this amazing community rightfully deserves. This means no bundling of third-party mod assets. Automaton provides links to each download, and also provides an auto-download function for users with Nexus Premium. (Auto-downloading is a Nexus feature, officially supported through the Nexus API.) The following automated installation is not only easy, but efficient — installing Mod Organizer 2

Free bump because it seems kinda based

Meh, who cares, post tits.

I don't get it. How exactly is it different to MO?

>not just dumping shit to data and editing plugins.txt by hand
lmaoing @ ur life

Keep going.

Why is this woman clothed? I thought its about skyrim mods.

>Well, while you most likely won't hurt yourself modding

>Year of our Lord 2019.
>Skyrim has been out for 8 years.
>Still no easy to install lazy man batch file of the best lewd mods.

Holy fuck, I just want to be lazy for one time in my life.

Last time I tried modding Skyrim I spend a week carefully installing and testing mods. Everything worked perfectly until I started actually playing, then it would just crash every 2 minutes.

Fuck that shit.

whats the difference between this and every other automatic mod installer exactly

You should have installed each mod one at a time and launched the game after each mod. Takes a long time but then you know what does and doesn’t work. My new vegas install has 100+ mods that I autistically ensured all work together. It wasn’t worth it.

Love how you guys just make every woman into a tranny then call real women with these facial features trannies.

>nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/97223/
How does this work exactly? Do I tell the thing to what to download and install? Or do I download stuff, put it in a folder and it installs?

Attached: 20161113202500_1.jpg (1920x1080, 379K)

problem is some mods only create conflicts after some time spent playing for whatever reason

i can play my game for several hours before it starts crashing all the time

I was curious about SE and people say most of the good mods have already been ported. But I was looking on ATF and it looks like the loli mods haven't really been ported at all. If I want lolis, is LE still the way to go, or was the ATF database thing just not properly updated?

>TFW I'm a brainlet that doesn't like to configure modlist tailored to separate playthroughs so I've been struggling trying to make just one good catch all list
I think I've got it. It's missing spell research, and there's not much devoted to archery past adding more bows and crossbows and shit, but I think I can finally start playing the game. Can't wait to see it all fall apart at level 40 and 20 hours in.

>You should have installed each mod one at a time and launched the game after each mod
That's what I fuckin did. Its not my first time modding a Bethesda game. Skyrim is just an unstable piece of shit all on its own.

i still use mod organizer 1

I kinda miss playing with my waifu but walking around and taking screenshots can only keep me interested for so long when I've played the rest of the game to the death already.

Me too user. Me too. LE too. No way I'm spending the time and effort to switch over at this point. I'll learn the new system with the next game once it has a modding scene down in another five or six years.

Ultimate Skyrim 4 came out too, with full easy installation with Automaton

yeah same. too lazy. i actually tried switching to 2 earlier but some mods started acting funky and i was like "fuck this."

So what's the best mod manager for Skyrim? I'm still using Nexus Mod Manager. How wrong am I in still using it and what's the best one available?

Why is this game so bad? I really want to finish the main quest but the combat and ai is just unbearable

>premium
I'll pass

Some will say Mod Organizer 2 however my experience with getting it to work with FNIS makes me very skeptical of that recommendation, Vortex is basically a more competent NMM and I've yet to run into issues with it so you could try that.

What about for new vegas? Will it ever get better than mod organizer? Weve came a long way from the nexus client

I haven't used NMM in forever. Does it use virtual machines/magic or does it still ask if you want to overwrite files? If the latter is true, switch to another organizer immediately. I use Mod Organizer 1. Can't speak for the others that might be better than MO though.

This and sometimes it is such a fucking small thing but it drives you insane cause youve already made everything else perfect so you cant leave this bullshit. For me it was 1 gun out of like 500 would turn fuckinh purple the only one cause some weird texture issue shit drove me mad.

Skyrim is almost ten years old, how people still have problems with modding it? Get file, get dependencies, install those first, then mod itself, done.
>Graphix mods hardly can conflict with each other, only overwrite themselves so you have high-res textures from one pack and hi-res models from another, nothing game-breaking and mind-destroying
>Gameplay mods have vast installation instructions written with dumbest fuckers in mind
>Everything is packed into bsa's, so to delete something you can just disable it and roll again
>Every mod has FOMOD version, nexus version, all sorts of versions, for any utility you use, even though manual install is still way to go

>install game
>install dlcs
>install 497 mods
>spend 15 hours fixing mods
>spend 15 minutes banging your head against a wall because you can't fix mods
>spend 10 hours until you find the one that breaks it all and delete it
>it was a key mod though you really wanted though
>finally manage to play
>underwhelming fap
>uninstall.exe
I won't fall for your empty promises again, Todd.

Still asks if you want to overwrite files. It's been abandoned and is no longer in development.

this,i just want all those porn mods without going hours over hours installing each and every piece of shit just to fap once and uninstall it

>Why is this game so bad?
Because Bethesda doesn't understand what makes a sandbox RPG cool and interesting to play anymore.

Yeah, then definitely switch to MO. I have to admit I had to watch a tutorial on using a couple things, but it's still way better than NMM in that case for the use of virtual machines alone.

See that loli orc futa? You can fuck her.

>underwhelming fap
You're not installing the right mods. The first time I watched my loli getting raped by a bunny, I came buckets.

Does the vagina have physics or is it just a clipping model? This is a deal breaker from me after coming from free high quality patreon vr games

kill paarthurnax.......... and I’ll let you take the condom off

>free high quality patreon vr games
which ones?

It does, actually, at least the UNP (and UUNP) body. Don't know if CBBE does too, but I'm sure it does.

>installs mod to fuck paarthurnax
What now bitch?

>muh ai
is there an easier way to spot a shitter?
It's lower on the totem pole than "artificial difficulty"

>download some shit
>run it through NMM
>click some dialogue options because you are not a mong and want things the way you like them anyway
>load order and go

what does this even do then? i dont understand.

Virt-a-Mate

>using NMM
so its true that Yea Forums is now populated with zoomers from reddit?

it was a trojan in it

The benefit is for the 99 percent of people that don't immediately know exactly what they want and how to do it and will never ever change their mod list.

>Play vanilla Skyrim
>Make choices based on my opinion
>Mod the game
>Make choices based on whether or not I want to tit fuck whomever I'm speaking with

Attached: 6b107f9.jpg (604x960, 95K)

Wait... wtf is vortex?
I'm pretty sure that it didn't existed a month ago.

It's been out for a while now. Vortex is the new NMM but made by the guy who made Mod Organizer.

>Trojan shit

Attached: 1483915446096.png (245x282, 162K)

>enter a cave with two rival factions fighting each other
>they spot you
>both ignore each other now and just attack you
Great programing
>enemy runs towards you
>you jump on a rock he cannot reach
>he runs away from you
>step down from rock
>he turns around and runs back at you
>repeat forever because npcs cannot jump even a tiny ledge
Truly the pinnacle of pc gaming

wow so grown up and truly anonymous for not using NMM
shut up you fucking loser.

Is there a modpack for better graphics?

>using NMM

NMM fucking breaks shit you mouth breather

So after modding Skyrim myself, I realized the biggest reason people don't want to share mod packs is a sense of "Fuck you, I wasted a week getting this shit right. You do it yourself."

A combination of that and "I don't want to have to hold your hand while you jump through the hoops required to install all this shit"

there's many mod elitist who think they're great for getting there game to run at 30fps with 2 million pointless mods installed.

it seems that people save and upload their configuration of mods, you can download that configuration, and then you just click the links to the mods to get downloaded and installed. hopefully it also installs them in the correct order, or maybe is reliant on the mod config creator to order them correctly

Fellas, I want a good magic build to do in Skyrim, but I'm a dumbass and don't know how to go about it. What are some good magic mods, and should I use spell research for spell crafting?

Apocalypse and Ordinator

>they both spot you
>both ignore each other and just attack you
Why would that do that? Because you're the bigger threat? Did you beat them? Wow, I guess they were right!
Dumbass.
And there's only like one dungeon that even has that scenario. If you're screeching that one dungeon out of 150 has an AI plan that you don't like, you're just being a whiny asshole. (not that we didn't know that anyway)
>GUYTH IF I JUMP ON A ROCK THEY RUN AROUND!!!!
>THIS IS GAME BREAKING IN MY OPINION!!!
Are you 4 years old?

todd pls go

I just install it for the sex mods. It's really the only loli game.

>can play as anything
>however cant play as a trap/twink without actual mod creation experience
excuse me skyrimbabs?
