Yes

Yep. Although I felt this feeling before too.

I feel like his 3rd hp bar was actually easier than 1st and 2nd thanks to the lightning reversal and his thrust is also much easier to mikiri. Great fight.

>perfect
input buffer is shit so no

It's not perfect but it has a few fragmented pieces of a perfect game.

If they make a sequel and improve on all the weak aspects it could potentially be one of the GOATs

Sekiro has a lot of technical issues with input buffering and animation jank so no.

He also doesn’t block very much. As long as you can dodge and block somewhat decently, he can be taken down. Also the shurikens help when he jumps in the air with the lightning.

How does Miyazaki do it?

Why use the shurikens when you can jump and send the lightning back at him? Does a lot of damage and leaves him stunned too.

Genichiro would have been a better Protag.

>input buffer
Is this what casuals tell themselves now instead of admitting that they're bad? Yikes.

DLC?

ikr? I laff everytime.

>start the game
>try blocking
>see that there is a slight delay to the animation, so you better be quick to block BEFORE the swing is right in front of you
>fail to do this every time you fight someone
>WTF there's so much lag and buffer!!1

You are supposed to be holding block during fights so your posture recovers faster, but whatever.

Genichiro is a dumb jobber

Nigga fuck that I like to live dangerously and go for perfect deflects every time. I only hold block if I know I'm about to get cheesed or I need to back off and regain some posture for a second.

His armor is gorgeous though.

I can't believe From Software actually made a game with good melee combat.

Maybe it is a thing on consoles, bro. We, the PC master race, can't even imagine their problems

You're right, and that's why he's extra dumb to ditch it

Man what a fight. The lightning reversals were cool as shit. This is the kind of boss battle that sticks with you. I just beat him and i hope the rest of the game is just as good. When FROM nails it, they really fucking nail it.

The boss fight was cool, not really spectacular imo, it's more of the mood of the fight and the desperation of genechiro that makes it memorable, if you know how to deflect before fighting him it's pretty much already over

Isshin the Sword Saint does not disappoint.
I think one of my favorite parts of this game is how all the humans use actual arts as their moves so you can read them and react
>Genichiro's 5 slash flail can be learned
>Ashina Elite and the Ashina Cross
>Butterfly uses that Leap Over shinobi art
>most enemy thrusts are just your heavy attack without the windup
