I'd say Dofus but the best is to try both and see which one you rpefer. If you try Dofus, go on the monoaccount server, Illizaelle. You might have to change manually though since the game puts you automatically on the normal servers I think.

Wakfu has the first installment problem where they were doing something for the first time. Like it was the first thing they made.

As such, the pacing feels off, the animation can look really rough, and the characters can feel a bit one dimensional.
They were also using Flash and 3D models because that's all they knew how to animate with at the time.
Though I have to give props:
