SM64 is considered one of the best of all time and it's got even worse camera and physics fuckery and isn't that much less buggy in general

There's plenty of meh missions in SM64 as well. And there are a few outright good mech and treasurte stages: Weapon's Bed, Cosmic Wall, Wild Canyon, Dry Lagoon, Pumpkin Hill, Meteor Herd, etc
