The problem with Gundam is that the first entry is the high point. 0079 was so great it kind of dwarfs everything that came after it.

But Zeta was better.

Before like episode 20 it's hot garbage with forced slapstick comedy. After that it becomes quite decent and almost rivals Z and the original. The waifus are what made it for me.

Zeta was slightly below imo. It had a slow start, the main conflict while more complex wasn't as compelling, there were a few characters that were near unbearable Katz and that one woman who switch sides, Jared was a interesting character but a poor rival.

It was still pretty good though.

Eh I respect Wing for taking shit in a different direction. New world, new conflict, no new types/cordinators, different look. It had the best attempt at an actually complex conflict. What are some good mecha games on PC? I've been playing through Armored Core and those are awesome, but for native PC it's pretty slim.
Project Nimbus looks fun, MASS Builder has good customization but shit gameplay, Dual Gear is in pre-alpha, I heard Battletech was shit.

I loved Gundam vs Zeta gundam & Gundam Crossfire.
Crossfire is a bit of a stretch to recommend though, due to Critics universally shitting on the game and scoring it around 30%. I think that they expected to be able to fly around and have a cinematic story, but to me the ground combat & customization was quality fun and harder modes were somewhat strategic in what suits you had your team mates deploy and how you'd approach the directive. It might of helped that I just watched 08th ms team.

Panel lining is either inking or painting the details, like the lines where 2 pieces of the mobile suit would touch. Top coat is a sealant to stop those details and your decals from getting fucked up.
