The story is okay, it holds together surprisingly well within its own confines but if you try to explain it to anyone else you'll sound like a retard. The gameplay can be pretty fun on higher difficulties where you have to break out of mashing X to win. KH2FM is the crown jewel of the series.
I'm currently replaying Dragon's Dogma. Man, something about that game's atmosphere is absolute comfy to me.

Crystar's alright. Combat is fairly simple, and the game itself is a bit repetitive. You really play it for the story/character interactions and it not being translated (yet?) you should only get it if you're comfortable with your Japanese. Personally speaking.
I’m probably gonna get it when it releases this summer. I will wait though to see how censored it is on PS4 before purchasing.
