Good: presentation and voice acting.
Very very very bad: the grind.
Needing 16 different level 6 soldiers for the DD itself is horrible. If I had failed any of the missions and lost a party to that "trauma" or whatever it was I would have cried.
The level limits for missions is also annoying, requiring a boring micro manage of units.
The combat itself is mediocre and bland. It's all very straight forward.
A bit bad design, a game that punished so heavy and yet is based on trial and error LOL....

First playthrough
Current party staples are a Leper as my tank and main damagr and a non healer Crusader but I have trouble picking my support between Plague Doctor for stun/body clearing, Vestal for healing and Jester for Stress reduction and surprisingly good damage

What's the deal with grind in this game? Never played it but I hear a lot of people complaining about, can anyone explain to me?

Game has to be played methodically. No rushing, take advantage of all the information you have and drafting your team accordingly, like not bringing a blight based damage dealer to an area resistant to blight. Team comp, team order...
The punishment for failure is a character death, youd need to reget the hero you lost, and train them back from square one. It isn't as bad as other people told me itd be, because I find the mid game dungeon running to be the fun of the game.

Replace loli with OG and you are correct.

The edited version used to work but after S-Purple found out about it he changed the squeleton of the OS, so the edited version does not work anymore.

The grind is horrendous. You need more than one team of dudes, each requiring leveling, equipping, and mental healing. You need to farm on the same places against variations of the same enemies for an ungodly amount of time. And you need to kill each boss three times before you unlock the final dungeon, which you need to clear four times with four different teams. And god helps you if one of your main dudes dies: You need to recruit a replacement from a rotating pool of random recruits. You need to level him, equip him, and fix his mental bullshit from the beginning. And you need to do it for a whole brand new team, because your veterans inexplicably refuse to go to lower level content. I hope you enjoy doing the exact same thing over and over for dozens of hours!

The game was great at first. But they used bullshit difficulty and artificial grind to increase its length far past what the actual content warrants.
