My mom had this on our old ass poverty windows XP computer.

I played this on 3DO back in 96, I sucked at it but damn that atmosphere.

Wish they would port the series to modern hardware.

They did.

Saveedro did nothing wrong

They should remake it but replicate the assets of the original exactly, unlike realMyst which looks like shit.

Masterpiece edition looks great tho, better than even the original original.

Only Tetris and maybe Doom has been ported as much as Myst.

Is there newer version with the original controls ?

realmyst has both the original and free controls

Ok, I hate having to walk around in those kind of games, it's way better to just click.

cough cough store.steampowered.com/app/244430/realMyst_Masterpiece_Edition/

realmyst masterpiece edition is shit. never before have I had this much input lag in a video game. fuck unity

starry expanse release when?

It's not unity, it's the devs. There's plenty of unity games without that input lag.

yeah snap reaction times really help in a slow pace exploration and puzzle game.

Not him but input lag feels like trash in any kind of environment
Although I haven't experienced input lag in RealMyst masterpiece edition myself

works on my machine

Anyone played Obduction? Curious to know how it compares to Myst

Myst IV is the best Myst game

It's very good imo, not too difficult though

It's only 10 bucks right now on Gog. I'd get it but I'm gonna get it on PS4 for VR.

Don't bother if you don't have a SSD, the load times will drive you batty, espeically at the end of the game

other than that it nails the "feel" of a 90's cyan game really well, but the puzzles felt kinda easy and flat to me compared to the other games in the myst series
