Other than a few interactions requiring you to wrap your head around some esoteric interactions, all of it is right there for you; it's just a matter of figuring out what way pieces need to be put together.
It rewards people who are patient and observant but at the end of the day it's still got block pushing puzzles.

I'm with you, user. I managed to complete the first 5 areas. But now I'm hitting roadblock in every zone. Finishing the 5th zone, the secret forest, took literally hours, because I was stuck on on level.

Dunno if it's good or not. But when I was like 5 years old. I would play this at my neighbor's house.

The Pushmo games. Them changing the names of the game with each release (pushmo, crashmo, stretchmo), having different names in each regions, and being 3DS eshop games didn't help marketing, but they are very solid little puzzle games.

i just unlocked the volcano and the void at the same time and i am paralysed by both

I had to get the answers for some of them. not all mechanics are well introduced imo, and some puzzles are way too complex to be considered proper tutorial for some words.
I feel like the pause screen should at least give us a definition of what each word of the level actually do.

That level's pretty much already solved. Admittedly, that's not an intended solution and I should have spoilered it, but the solution doesn't even fucking work unless you take advantage of a hidden mechanic anyway, so I'm not even sure how useful the pic is to anyone seeking to use it.

The leading causes of that are simultaneous rule formations, text stacking, swap, tele, anything involving a loop, infinite or otherwise, suicide levels, and anything involving bullshit where you have to push shit onto shit before enabling a rule because if the rule's already active shit breaks.

Flower Garden is the hardest area before you make it down the rabbit hole.

Right about now. I've been playing for over 34 hours now.(granted, I allowed the game to run idle a lot) All the incomplete areas are about half done, give or take. And I'm reaching the point where all the levels feel like huge hassles.

Is Swap makes it so a block swaps places with anything that moves onto it and/or anything it moves onto.

Some of the levels, I don't even feel are especially difficult. They just feel choresome.

That's uncommon and is sometimes caused by missing a much easier solution.

Also, I don't have to do hassle levels back to back, if I could just finish one, then I'm sure the following level would be simpler. That seems to be the rhythm of the game.

Around the point where I had the first four areas fully cleared. Once I started to understand some of the weirder mechanics like EMPTY I was on a roll though, up until I hit meta

I mean this one is pretty easy if you recognize what's missing.
Flag is Stop. But Baba is never declared as stop.
It's a similar pitfall as assuming all walls act like walls because they are walls. Discard that thinking because wall is just another tile like jelly, crab, or baba

I usually start by sorting out what isn't possible to change in the level, that normally gives a good idea of what you need to do or overcome to win. Like in that level, flag is stop so you can't just walk onto flag. You also can't make anything other than flag win, and you cannot turn anything into flag. So somehow you must get flag and baba on the same tile.

I just run around and touch everything in that case, easier to get a start that way.

Puzzle game that requires you to throw away assumptions. Walls do not stop you from moving through them unless Wall is Stop. You're not even Baba unless Baba is You. The rules are present in the levels as blocks you can push and rearrange. Two hundred levels, and it's shocking how often the player is surprised.

Miku Runner. Lode Runner hack with heavy emphasis on puzzling instead of juking enemies.

If you want a bit of a hint about game mechanics you might not realise yet, YOU can FALL past the skulls and not be defeated.
Once that's done, you've spent the last few levels Carrying a FALL object up towards some goal, so just do that again.

Ok so I managed to finish the game without spoilers after much suffering and realizing that finishing it didn't require all that much effort.
Do I have to 100% the game to reach that one red spot in the world map with the player marker? I genuinely will just use a walkthrough if so. Too many levels I just couldn't crack. The first world is the only one I have 100%'d

I did the 'level is X' stages just fine and got stuck. Then did A way out because baba alone won't do anything with the map rules.
With the end condition making flowers, I just assumed that if I had reached it before having them all it wouldn't have ended. At least it gave me closure.

You can still replay the level as long as you can get the level select square on it, regardless of whether it shows up as the level icon or something else. Yes, this does mean that you can play Fragile Existence anywhere since Baba is the level and moving around.

Is there a detailed list of how the levels that have been patched were changed? Completing every world on the initial map before finding out the switch version was outdated was pretty disheartening, kind of feels like hollow progress even though I think most of the changes were to remove unintended solutions that I may not have ever used.

Honestly BIY is very tame as far as puzzlers go
The game just always gives you a very limited amount of things you can even interact with so it doesn't take long to just try every reasonable combination of words
Also the levels generally start off in a way that already gives you a hint if you just think about it for a second
I kind of feel sorry for anyone who struggles with beating the game very much
