it's alright, just feels unfinished

controls like butter and the movement is really fluid though

>pal boxart

It's not bad, just lacking polish and was clearly unfinished.

No, Just don't use jetpack fludd overmuch. It's a crutch that slows you down if you rely on it too much.

No

speedruns of this game are fucking beautiful

No, people are just too casual and stupid for it. It's a game that demands you git gud.

The dark souls of mario games

It plays beautifully, it just needed twice as many levels to replace the blue coins.

We can all agree it was at least better than Super Mario Söydessy

No idea. Tried it years ago but didn't like the water gun mechanic so didn't bother to play much.

It's my favorite 3d Mario game. Neat setting, fun levels, gimmick is pretty solid. Turns into a collectathon if you want to 100% which is the only bad part of the game.

Switch release when?

It's patrician. This fucking music, man.

In my experience, people who complain about it suck at it.

It's a good game, but like the others said it's unpolished especially for Nintendo standards. Blue coins are kinda shitty as some of them are too cryptic/obscure.

I genuinely have an irrational hatred for Sunshine.
I played it with zero expectations, well before Odyssey and after playing 64, and I absolutely hated playing it. Nothing was fun, every level after Bianco Hills was an absolute chore, and it was just an overall frustratingly repetitive game. I hate Sunshine so much that I can't even find any redeeming qualities and comprehend how so many tout it as their favorite 3d mario. The only reason why I can see somebody liking Sunshine as much as they do is because they grew up with the Gamecube, that's literally the only reason I can come up with. I hate how unfinished Sunshine feels, I hate how the levels are structured, I hate how even without going out of my way in getting the blue coins I just hate playing the game. It is easily among the worst mario games I have played. Garbage, atrocious, god I fucking hate talking about Sunshine it makes me so FUCKING MAD I FUCKING HATE THIS FUCKING GAME FUCK SUNSHINE FUCK THE REPETITIVE SHADOW MARIO LEVELS FUCK ALL OF IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

tbf i would probably hate it too if i hadn't played it young, especially after playing mario 64

i unironically think that bianco hills is probably the most boring level though
ricco harbor, pinna park and pianta village were all way better

Unlike other Nintendo games, the western and eastern boxarts for Sunshine are pretty similar.

>it's not 64 reeee
>Single biome world reeeee
>I hate fludd!...what do you mean I can't use fludd in the secret levels? Not that I need it or anything

It's only real crime is it's length (compared to galaxy) and I only mean the first one as the second is like 50% map roadblocks and 50% going into bonus rooms to feed those fat fuck lumas so you can pass said roadblocks.

The only thing this game did wrong was the blue coins

Having too few levels and locking the final level behind the Shadow Mario fights both sucked ass.
