I thought the comfiness was largely due to the death and destruction contrasting with the small spots of comfort and safety and the traces of the past normalcy. Shrine of Storms was the comfiest DeS area for me though. The wind swept coastal ruins, the eerie atmosphere with torn banners flapping in the breeze and a storm forming in the horizon... peak comfy.

I think the RPCS3 tends to be more CPU intensive, but i can run demons souls and P5 just fine on my 2017 bought asus laptop so who knows really.
