Outside of saber combat I would disagree about Jedi Outcast being better than Jedi Knight. Level design regressed in Jedi Outcast and so did the Force Power (specifically the non-combat ones). MOTS had the best levels of the series.

roughly same opinion as you but I feel the jedi games are more jedi sims than traditional FPS, also the guns aren't that great in the jedi academy games compared to dark forces imo, they feel pretty weak for the most part
