You cheated not only the game, but yourself

You cheated not only the game, but yourself.

You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.

You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.

It's sad that you don't know the difference.

experience this
*unzips dick*

*spins umbrella*

I never used the umbrella. I don't even know what it's supposed to be good for.

If its in the game, its a legitimate means of playing.

I think you mean firecrackers is cheating. which it is.

I'm not sure I like this meme, I want easy mode retards to kill themselves not feel vindicated that another retard sperged out on twitter

Its an easier way of countering Guardian Ape's terror scream.

Is that a duel disk?

I only ever used it against terror assholes.

People keep telling me that the umbrella is super fucking good, especially the upgrades for apparitions or fire enemies. I never used it through the entire game though, I messed around with it when I first got it and never saw the appeal.

Attached: 1553463274326.gif (180x166, 457K)

never even got it on my 1st playthru
instead used the lady's butterfly kunai and cheesed every boss since

It blocks a couple of high faggotry projectiles

At least the Umbrella is actually good for something during boss fights, unlike every other garbage sideweapon in this damn game.
The uselessness of that Axe makes me so mad.

>people who play on easy difficulty should be killed.
it's amazing how you don't realize what you typed is just as embarrassing as the copy pasta

It made the Ashina Elite bosses a joke. It's slept on OP.

No I said they should kill themselves, You must be new here

Lmao stay mad

dude parry lmao
dude one weapon lmao
dude youre a samurai lmao
dude one armor lmao
dude bloodborne 2 next lmao
hurrr this isnt bloodborne 2
dude ds4 wont be next lmao

I only used the purple one against the headless and the shichimen warrior. Fuck terror.

WHO ELSE SHURIKEN ONLY?
FUCK PROSTHETICS

Attached: 1555021066516.gif (921x1168, 335K)

Its a safe place to hide under from the horrors of reality

Where is it? I'm missing it and whatever a finger whistle is.

>goes after the super strong Ashina secret power and loses his humanity to become a savage Red Eye for the sake of protecting his country
>objectively less dangerous than every normal samurai encountered before it.
Was that Gneichiro's apprentice?

They were already a joke if you don’t have the reaction speed of an old grandpa.
It’s literally see flash - tap twice L1

LAZULITE SHURIKEN
CHASING SLICE
EASY MONEY

Attached: 1554658686433m.jpg (1024x1024, 121K)

People keep saying this, but in game strats aren't cheating so I don't really get it. Like if the game lets you do something its just a strategy

Lapis stars are just hands down the best right? Or does butterfly's do more damage? Stars only cost 1 kunai 2

Purple umbrella trivializes every terror miniboss in the game, which is okay because none of them are fun to fight.

Yeah but I got bored of that and I wanted to try something new. I used the umbrella on the red eye one and I felt kinda bad kek.

Kino means movie theater, you stupid faggot. Stop parroting garbage memes from Yea Forums and get the fuck out of my board.

based.
FUCK FEATHERFAGS
FUCK SHIELDFAGS
FUCK AXEFAGS
IF YOU USE A PROSTHETIC GO FUCK YOURSELF

Attached: 1443929294017.png (277x358, 88K)

Pretty sure charged kunai deal more damage, as long as all the butterflies hit, but their tracking is shit

Pretty much everything. It blocks a ton of annoying attacks and it deals a ton of damage too.

damage doesnt matter for shurikens
theyre god tier at disrupting, stick with lapis

You're a big guy.

I just remembered I got that weapon from her. Now to get it attached to my arm...

Butterfly Kunai would probably deal more damage if the butterflies actually had some semblance of tracking. Unfortunately, it ended up being a horribly inefficient projectile.

Didn't even bothered to use that thing the whole game, I suck with that

The one thing I've seen no one mention is the lapis shurkien pierce enemies and hit the ones behind them. The overall damage on groups by the lapis shuriken is unbeatable.

Honestly I cant get in to the prosthetics. Ive used firecrackers on one boss and the flame barrel on the ogre. I like the game without them, they dont feel necessary and seem so circumstantial that its almost pointless.

Who here Firecrackers+Fistful of Ash master race?
That's an awfully complicated moveset, would be a shame I interrupted all of it.
>spams firecrackers and attacking their stunned bodies while raking up posture damage
>start tossing ash in their eyes when I run out of emblems
>deathblow their blind asses
Psshh... nothin personal...

Attached: sekiro-shadows-die-twice-firecrackers.jpg (780x439, 49K)

That's why the Umbrella is king. It lets you tank through alot of shit and keep on chopping.

>The uselessness of that Axe
It fucks up a lot of minibosses really good though

Kind of a lame attempt at a "gotcha" moment considering the umbrella is part of the game and intended to be used in such a way, whereas a trainer is just straight up cheating. Which by itself is whatever, but when you go on to write articles for a living about how you cheated and are proud of it, feel confident you've mastered the game, etc people are going to call you on your bullshit.

If you used skill points, prayer beads, memories, any prosthetic tool, or stealth and didn't completely take out every death blow of every minoboss and boss you did not really play the game, fuck off.

They're phenomenal for me because they let you do cool shit with the living force skill. Like sure the flame itself can be useful, but the followup letting you coat your blade in fire is even better

Also once you know how they work, you can get through tough scenarios. Like divine abduction was fucking amazing when the ministry invaded Ashina because it let me OHKO the red soldiers

For me they just add an entire level of enjoyment to the basic gameplay and I would have enjoyed the game less if they weren't there or if I ignored them

I don't know user, I gave it every single chance I could against every boss and minibos I possibly could. I had really high hopes for it when fighting those big drunkard enemies, but that didn't work out. Essentially anybody I thought "I could use some extra firepower here" I tried the axe on and its effects were very neglibible. Especially considering how it's a limited resource with a fairly high cost on use. At the end of the day the best thing it felt usable for was screwing up the posture of nightjar enemies.

*deflects your insult*

Someone get this hothead outta here

Attached: 1548228756827.png (430x763, 238K)

How do you get the red eyes elite? By not killing him at first?

Was only useful to get through those retarded fire attacks from demon of faggotry. If they wanted to put in a souls boss I was gonna play it like it was a souls game

Attached: E1C31FB9-3858-4A83-84DC-1BDD65FA8827.png (470x267, 40K)

>he's STILL mad that he was called out for being bad at video games
How embarrassing.

It's strong against the spear guy and the lone shadow

>op tier
firecracker
>universally useful
spear, axe, umbrella, shuriken
>situationally useful tier
dagger, leaf, fire, whistle
>waste of emblems tier
feather

reminder that gassing nips really is a holy act

Firecrackers > Malcontent > Umbrella for specific bosses > Mist raven > Everything else

>game gives you tools to deal with specific situations
>refuse to use them
>wonder why the game is so hard

Worked pretty good on Genichiro for me.

>missing finger whistle
Finger whistle isn't an optional shinobi tool component.

You can only say that about the mist feather if you haven't upgraded it. The Great mist feather is universally useful because it lets you do a better step dodge that also does damage and lets you use living force

Also use mist feather against Sword Saint and you might change your tune on it

Seething Soulsnigger is SEETHING

4u

FUCK lone swordsmen.

At least I had fun with bosses and mini bosses. Those fucks I NEVER had any fun fighting. FUCK THEM.

I'm not that far. I did my own work, though, so I know when I'll get it.

No you need to kill him, then keep going through the game and he's under isshins room after the dragon.
Honestly prosthetics trivialize the game. >Finger whistle lets you break any difficult enemy placement.
>also lets you stun/stagger difficult bosses and minibosses.
>shuriken makes butterfly easy
>spear makes both monkey fights the easiest boss in the game with how much posture damage pulling the centipede out does.
>umbrella fucks up any headless and blocks pretty much all the DOH attacks.
>firecracker useful against anything

>Using any prosthetics other than shuriken

Are they all useful unupgraded? I upgrade them when I can, but I don't go out of my way to find upgrade materials. I also pretty much never use any of them anyway.

Are there 2 snakes in this game or what. I killed the snake and then he shows up in a cave guarding a bridge? Also ultimate skill of the prosthetic tree is the best in this game. A fire sword or a sword made of holy power actually destroys everything in your path

Saw a webm earlier of somebody playing with a character in some kinda Kimono slapping Guardian Ape with giant scythes.

What the fuck is that? I just got the Shura ending and went into NG+ but I haven't seen anything even close to that stuff.

Or just use divine confetti...

>What the fuck is that?
Mods.

Yes there are two Divine Serpents. You can only kill one of them.

i only use the fire umbrella and that's for one specific boss's move.
You all know which one

Because people are pretending the game is supposed to be hard when it's casualized Souls.

I refused to use them because they made the fights WAY too easy. What is the point of not interacting with the bosses?

This opinion can only come from someone who hasn't touched the game.

Damn it God, what am I supposed to do...?

I'm sure kino means more than that

I'm sure you're an obese retard with pedophile tendencies.

I dont get this

Is the game actually hard or is it that grinding is a pain in the ass?

You might say he's a big guy.

this meme is hella frikken epic

Attached: Reddit-Logo-NOTEXT-2.png (1193x1654, 38K)

That's litterally how it's designed to be used, for terror bosses. How is that 'trivial'?

Fire is op tier with living force
Vent + 4 hits sets most enemies on fire without oil, which stuns them and deals damage
Especially good against lone shadow and vilehand fucks

>unlimited fire sword
>10 divine confetti in game

This is only good for speeding up fights by blocking easy attacks that would normally force you to leave combat range
Firecrackers and even shuriken are way cheesier

I really enjoyed only having one weapon and the fact that you get most prosthetics quickly. While i didn't have a ton of options what I did have was polished and I wasn't locked out of using it till the end. Game like Bloodborne are amazing but getting some cool shit like the Kos Parasite from literally the hardest boss invalidates it's purpose, what am I gonna use it on? I do wish they could strike a good balance for NG+, in the other games things just become HP sponges and in this it doesn't do much of anything. I hardly noticed any difference even with bell demon and once I got used to no charm it was like the game was easier than the first playthrough

I only ever used the shurikens and flame vent.

Attached: 274.jpg (458x458, 29K)

>try to cheese the Schichimen Warrior with anti-air
>first deathblow within 5 seconds
>hide under umbrella and wait for him to jump again
>doesnt jump
>waste all my 5000 confetti while waiting
>fuck that, homeward out of there
>die anyway because it takes like half an hour
>get 2 confetti, whack away Soulsborne style
>didnt even need my 2nd confetti
>mfw its just Pinwheel in disguise

You don't even need confetti if you have a decent number of damage upgrades

The reason you can't get into them is because the game outside of the special moves is balanced as shit. You can't get through the entire game and be highly efficient just walking and blocking, but you can also use prosthetics to mix things up or give you advantages you didn't know you could exploit and each of them have their own uses. It's actually great design.

The specials that cost spirit need some tweaking since most of them do no damage but they're under a similar boat where if you master them and mix it up you can have a dynamic game.

You can buy divine confetti from all vendors unlimited after beating true monk.
