Say what you will about RDR2 but you literally cannot deny any of the following
>has the best, most well-written protagonist in all of video games >has the most impressive and beautiful open world ever >is the most detailed and polished game ever made
For these reasons alone it has a significant place in vidya history and deserves its praise
>music, atmosphere, voice acting, amount of content, immersion, art design, mission variety, gameplay
Gameplay is actually good if you're patient with it, it's just the controls are sometimes clunky. The controls and occasionally linear mission design are the only true negatives with this game.

have to say i got pretty bored with moving camps all the time contributing to the camp doesn't really do much so i don't know why they even put it in the game also horses are fucking retarded in this game, sometimes they will swerve and dodge trees, other times they will run straight into them
Elijah Thomas
Marston was a better protagonist, and RDR1 had more interesting things to do than RDR2 (recurring bounties, shootouts, police weren't psychic, so wanted level actually mattered)
Brody Carter
There's a lot of systems in the game that aren't fleshed out like the camp donation system.
Samuel Sullivan
Marston was not a better protagonist lmao Also the wanted system has sucked dick in every single R* game with no exceptions. It's bad in RDR2 and it was bad in RDR.

2019... I am forgotten.

Im beginning to think those threads are falseflags made by people who actually like the game
Caleb Sanders
I love the game and i missed the damn threads on /vg/
>ywn never Romance Mary-Beth,Tilly, or and Karen
>ywn never convince them to a 4 way
>ywn never help Mary-Beth wright her book and show her the beauty of nature and spending time together alone in the wilderness
>ywn never help Tilly open up about herself and help her learn to trust people and more honest to everyone at camp and learn that its okay to be vulnerable around the people that care about her
>ywn never help Karen kick her alcoholism and her depression of the people she lost in her life knowing that they would've wanted her to live happy so she would have a new outlook on life It hurts user
How new? If you want to discuss a game you like without getting pruned, you make a shitpost OP. Call your fav game shit. Watch the replies.
Kevin Ramirez
It’s a shill phrase.
Zachary Hall
It reminds me a lot of TBoGT where even though the story missions were on the rails trash, the characters/story/setting made up for every short coming it had.
Brayden Sanders
Seeing as they have most of the RDR1 voice actors back, it would've been amazing fanservice if they went back to release a little patch for the original to build up some extra hype and world building. Small stuff like a few conversations, reminiscing about events and characters.
Joseph Price
>has the best, most well-written protagonist in all of video games
No way he acts braindead because the open world aspect of the game wouldn't work otherwise. Everything returns to the status quo after your relocate the camp like five times so you can go out and do side missions. I lost count of how many times Arthur and Dutch had the same conversation. >I dunno about this Dutch... >ARTHUR HAVE FAITH Then when shit gets fucked up and they have to relocate >DON'T WORRY ARTUR WE'LL SURVIVE >I dunno Dutch, times is changing. >FAITH.
Eli Jenkins
>Gameplay is actually good if you're patient with it What in the ever loving FUCK did xhe mean by this?
Zachary Martinez
You might not have been paying attention because Arthur knows Dutch has gone crazy by chapter 2 yet sticks around out of loyalty.
Christopher Bennett
It's clear enough that Arthur is an unwilling participant, so obviously he's loyal for sticking around. Arthur is shit because he's a timid little bitch who won't call Dutch's plans shit. He'd rather stick around and risk his life playing bodyguard for Dutch and the gang than confront Dutch and tell him he's gotta cut and run.
