It's possible to make it look cool for webms but this kind of shit isn't possible on any difficulty higher than easy. On the harder difficulties it's basically a cover shooter.

And Uncharted 1-3 have far less gameplay options and arenas than 4. They're a lot more scripted in that sense.

Not only that but I just went back and watched it again and the gameplay you showed was awful. So first you show Nathan grabbing someone off the ledge while people are shooting him. Not only do the people shooting at him always miss but the person playing doesn't press square again to grab the guy off the ledge. The person playing legit forgot to press square again. Then Nathan falls down and gets a headshot thanks to aim assist while almost dying. He then runs up a ledge (while getting shot by a sniper cause he doesn't roll) and then swings around on a grappling hook missing literally every shot. He then climbs up, slowly zooms in, and gets a headshot. That's your god tier gameplay? The person playing literally missed a grab, almost died, and got two headshots thanks to aim assist.

playing 4 on crushing for the first time and i can confirm this user has reason. there is a good amount of mobility though, but you cant be out in the open for more than 2 seconds without dying. imagine ops webm but with taking cover to heal and blind firing. when you fail an enocounter enoug times and know how many dude youre facing and where they are, you can almost get to run around freely.

I play Uncharted on easy because it lets you do cool shit and have fun its mechanics. On higher difficulties its a boring cover shooter. Naughty Dog is terrible at balancing difficulty and gameplay.

I'd argue that easy is too easy, if you want a challenge normal or hard is fine. You can get away with some of the stuff in op's webm on normal. Crushing isn't fun, though you could just turn on auto aim and breeze through it. Really bad difficulty balancing overall.

The flow of combat is uninterrupted, sure, but it does not require a lot of thinking and placement. And the online just show how the community play the game, jumping everywhere, rope every time they can etc...
At least on console, Gears of War is not that cinematic, have some time of low movement, but Gnasher duel and boucing on wall, placement is key. More based on skill than cinematic, choose what you think is the best.
