Can't yhou use a detect magic spell for that? Some clue here and there?

well it is a box and you're looking for a box

never understood the problem with this

Not going to lie. It gave me trouble. But when I found it I was mad at myself. Not the game.

>Enter dungeon looking for item
>Naturally assume the item will be somewhere deep in the dungeon because it's an RPG and that's how all RPGs work
>Spend hours searching the dungeon trying to find it
>It's actually just on a shelf a few steps away from the entrance
Prime example of a "too smart for video games" problem.

True. People who still play Morrowind in TWENTY FUCKING NINETEEN are gigantic plebs.

>Tutorial is by far the hardest part of the entire game
I don't know what they were thinking.

i admit i had to use walkthrough here
and even when doing so i STILL couldnt find it
laugh at me

Fucking hell, played this so much when I was a kid. Nothing comes close.

I still waiting for mods fixing the clunky control to play it.

At least you've actually played it, user.

HEY MAN WATCH THE PAINT

Mods aren't going to help with your mental retardation.

I found the tutorial for AC the hardest part of the game as well, those damn girls with their vases.

I've spent many hours playing Morrowind, but never even found the temple entrance. Instructions in the journal were too vague. I've spent time doing missions for guilds, sidequests, exploring the world and it probably was much more fun than the main storyline.

Jet Set Radio's optional tutorial did this as well
You have to do a long-ass combo that you never have to do during the story
The achievement for completing the tutorial is rarer than the one for beating the game.

I was never able to leave the first dungeon area in Baldurs Gate 2.
