Why the fuck are you shilling this garbage so hard?
>wireless anything
I'd tell you to strangle yourself with your cord but you can't even do that. Feel free to reply to me with your butthurt reaction images once your mouse is done charging.
give me the (you)
My mouse charges in under 1 hour and i can use it plugged in, literally a no issue.
Lasts me two weeks even with RGB enabled
the G Pro wireless is the best mouse ever made
Wireless mice have inferior response times. That's the price you pay for convenience. If wireless technology were faster than wired you would see all mice using the wireless technology to transmit data.
what's a good one with a long battery life? up to 35 bucks
>Wireless mice have inferior response times
latency, tracking consistency and loss hasn't been an issue since 2017 on logitech wireless mice
Too expensive, I'll keep my deathadder from 2006
i wouldn't trust anyone still using wired peripherals in 2019 WITH a wire.
Wireless technology is not faster than electrons on copper. Wireless requires transceivers and authentication that introduce delays. This is a fact of physics and simple arithmetic. Don't just post graphs as if this is an argument. Post links to legitimate studies that compare more than a couple of mice. Don't post shit that is basically an advertisement that has no source.
AUGH, FUCK. CLEAN THAT SHIT
>RGB
You really are a clown, huh
boards.fireden.net
He is basically an advertiser though. Keeps making gaming mice threads just to defend this literal dogshit tooth and nail.
pcper.com
source for you
second most used mouse in csgo comp too
No wireless mx518 yet.
>we didn't do this testing directly
>logitech inhouse testing shows that logitech mouse is good
AHAHAHHAHA the absolute state of you braindead faggots.
literally anyone that used a logitech wireless mouse says in the last 3 years can tell you that it is identical, even people who make money playing videogames.
Your opinion doesn't matter if your too poor for a 150$ product
>sponsored people say that the mouse they got from their sponsors are good
You unironically have brain problems, don't you?
>too poor
You are underage too. LMOA
>HE CHARGES HIS MOUSE
yet you mocked me in 2016 when I got one, you late blooming retards
there is literally no review of the g pro wireless saying that the wireless causes any tracking issues
again, your opinion is irrelevant
They still make wired peripherals?
>posting a known shill
make sure to use his finalmouse promo code so he can get 22.50 bucks a sale
name a mouse better than the g pro wireless then
>veteran
>it's a literal who that got paid to advertise a product on youtube
You have no idea how youtube works I see you fucking child.
How much are you getting paid to spam this shit here?
>daily wireless mouse thread
either you're a blatant shill or an actual retard. why the fuck do you care what mouse anyone else on this board uses? are you trying to flex that you spent chump change? i dont get it... is this a cry for help? are you trying to say that logitech has you chained in their basement somewhere and the only way to get free is to destroy the chain?
>How much are you getting paid to spam this shit here?
my payment is poorfags whining in my threads and their tears are my lube
Okay, well I'll get back to you in 18 months when the batteries run out
Seriously though, wireless mice today are much, much better than they were 10 years ago. I can only speak for the Logitech G603, but it has been absolutely fantastic. I'm never going wired again.
Before you call me a shill, other companies probably have good wireless mice too (SteelSeries is the first that comes to mind, maybe Corsair too). Fuck Razer though and their botnet bullshit software that you HAVE to run to use their peripherals. Fuck that company.
A wired mouse you dumb fuck, holy shit. Why are you like this you retarded teen?
mice are subjective desu
>Friendly reminder that there is absolutely no reason to not have a wireless mouse in 2019
why do you care?
1. Wireless mice are more expensive
2. Wireless mice can run out of battery
bet u poorfags dont even have a $400 mechanical keyboard lmao
it still takes up a USB port, so what's the point?
I'm just surprised you still use that after it started double clicking in 2008
what custom
>but but but the wire gets in the way and ruins your accuracy
Maybe if you've got shit for desktop real estate.
who bothers responding to mouse threads without knowing who rjn is?
how often do you recharge your wireless mouse?
/thread
It's a literal who aimed at braindead underage retards to sell shit. I see it's working well, child.
based
Sucks dick that something like this is even necessary. My mice never had this problem, but now suddenly every mouse I buy regardless of manufacturer ends up doing this shit. It smells like planned obsolescence. Switches shouldn't become useless after 2 years.
I will accept the possibility that wireless actually has higher latency than wired. You haven't posted anything to prove that, and the only data I've ever seen has shown that modern Logitech wireless mice are faster than the vast majority of wired mice, but it is definitely possible.
But
I would argue that because many of the (literally) best PC gamers in the world use wireless mice, whatever latency is introduced by wireless is entirely negligible. If it weren't a negligible difference between wired and wireless, they wouldn't be the best in the world, or they wouldn't be using wireless.
As an analogy if you have a $15,000 all carbon track bicycle and put Lance Armstrong on a $150 Walmart bike, you're still gonna lose. There are exceptions to this in some areas of life, but on the whole this is true: the person using the tool is far, far more important than the quality of the tool itself.
...
>I would argue that because many of the (literally) best PC gamers in the world use wireless mice, whatever latency is introduced by wireless is entirely negligible
Do not trust people who are sponsored. Everything they use is an advertisement.
Bought a trust strike mouse today, hopefully will last a a year.
Shouldn't you be doing homework, child?
Fucking based
...
HOLY BASED
hello i am the best mouse on the market
>side grips fall off after a few months
I run a youtube channel, I know exactly how sponsorship works.
What I'm saying is, if these guys are literally using these wireless mice in competition, and STILL QUALIFYING FOR COMPETITIONS, then the "wireless factor" must not be very important, right?
op, i am in need of a new mouse. do you have a promo code or affiliate link i can use so i can get 2% off the RRP of a G wireless mouse?
i've been using mine since release and they're still firmly attached
looks like you got luckseries'd
buy a new one and try your luck again :)
Most CSGO professionals use Zowie mice (all wired).
Logitech is the second most use mice, but almost none of them used the wireless G Pro
There is a few though and they say it's not bad, but I still wouldn't want that for CSGO or any FPS.
For anything other than FPS I'm sure it's fine, and even for FPS I'm sure it's fine, but I just won't be using one even if it's because an extremely slight increase in input lag.
why do you retards seem to swear loyalty to a piece of hardware? this board seems to have the most specific hardware daily threads
I have a G305, it takes AA batteries. I thought it'd be awful, but I put in a battery when I got it in February and it's still reporting 4 bars now.
I'd love to know what fucking black magic logitech shit runs on, I have a K400R for using my PC on the TV as well and I can recall changing the batteries only ever once over the span of a few years.
Not true. With wired mouse the signals have to go through solid metal which causes inference, as opposed to wireless mouse where the signal goes through air
>but I just won't be using one even if it's because an extremely slight increase in input lag.
You are not good enough for it to matter. Sorry.
ouch
There's no direct or legitimate comparison to their performances with both wireless and with wired. They could be overcoming a handicap you don't notice. I understand your point, but the fact remains that wireless technology is literally not faster than wired technology. Wireless can try to close the gap and make the difference hard to detect, but people who understand the actual hardware and technology know that adding two middlemen responsible for sending and receiving data is going to be slower than technology that is as simple and direct as possible. You could make wired mice even faster with fiber optics if you get right down to it. Any improvements to how the data interfaces with the hardware would improve both wired and wireless mice. Wireless can never close the gap completely unless they can encapsulate, transmit, authenticate, and receive that data faster than a wire can simply transmit and receive.
It's a fucking nobody and I've been following Quake and CS since before you were even born. Know your place, child.
this is some dumb shit I'm reading
>Logitech is the second most use mice, but almost none of them used the wireless G Pro
the g pro wireless is the second most used mouse in csgo comp at this point user
If you're outputting so much magnetic interference that you're dropping inputs from your mouse you've got bigger problems. Wireless is subject to an enormous array of interference. I know you're being facetious, but you shouldn't joke around.
thta's the most retarded thing i read this week, congrats
...
I am.
I play high rank and can notice 10ms of input lag.
>literally run out of things to say
Absolutely bitchmade. You are a nobody, your opinion on mice doesn't matter.
never had this problem
the only issue is one of the side button being physically broken, nothing else
on-winning.com
There's actually more people using the fucking Razer Deathadder for some reason, but that's probably because sponsors.
>but the fact remains that wireless technology is literally not faster than wired technology
see So all of the review websites, the ones taking apart the mice to directly measure click latency with an oscilloscope, are... wrong? Making up data? I am well aware that reviewers have fudged numbers or outright lied in the past, but are you sure Logitech has enough money to pay off literally everyone who has ever tested a wireless mouse from them? And somehow nobody has ever showed that their wireless mice are, in any non-negligible fashion, slower than wired?
>You could make wired mice even faster with fiber optics if you get right down to it
And this is how I know you do not know what you're talking about. Voltage responses travel through wires at, give or take, the speed of light. Going from 99.98% of the speed of light to c, over a distance of maybe 3 feet, is going to be a change on the order of picoseconds. Maybe smaller.
>Wireless can never close the gap completely unless they can encapsulate, transmit, authenticate, and receive that data faster than a wire can simply transmit and receive.
Again, this shows me that you simply don't understand how any of this works. Do you not think the movement data is encoded, encapsulated, transmitted, received, and authenticated in a wired connection? Which parts do they skip when transmitting data over a wire instead of over the air?
Other than "authentication", of course, because that doesn't happen on mice and you don't even know what that word means.
A little knowledge is dangerous, user.
...
Is the Mx518 Legendary worth picking up? Last time I checked you had to import from china or Taiwan or something because it wasn't out in the US yet
>SEPTEMBER 17, 2018
old as fuck nigga, g pro wireless released in august
I don't understand this. For A/V enthusiasts, wired has always been the gold standard for eons.
I don't understand the audio jack removal, when Steve Jobs was fingering audiophiles to orgasm about FLAC and other shit. And when this board regularly posts reaction time threads that derail into a cable-lad's wet dream.
Read the review they didn't test the latency you stupid fucking cunt. Logitech did. Guess who also made the mouse? SHOCKING!
Give me one reason to have a wireless mouse
>Do you not think the movement data is encoded, encapsulated, transmitted, received, and authenticated in a wired connection?
There is no point discussing this with you any further.
I mean we're talking shit that is literally imperceptible to humans at this point. Does some absolutely microscopic difference in latency really matter if practically there's no difference? And yes, it fucking is imperceptible, if pros don't notice then you don't notice it.
>wired has always been the gold standard for eons
because of latency
now that it's not a problem... ???
>there is absolutely no reason to not have a wireless mouse in 2019
The top half of your image proves otherwise.
>mfw got a 502 for $20ish
>mfw no face
The difference between a car that can do 120 MPH and 121 MPH isn't huge, but the car that can go 121 MPH is also half the price.
It came out worldwide now but I got it from a taobao agent for like $45 in november but now it's $60
i didn't read thread, but i bet you use wifi faggot
>I play high rank and can notice 10ms of input lag.
Well it's a good thing that no gaming mouse from an actual company released any time in the last 6 years has anywhere near 10 fucking milliseconds of input lag. An occasional "just for fun" player could notice that amount of input lag.
Ignoring the fact that Logitech's current-gen wireless mice are equal to or faster than all but a very, *very* small handful of wired mice, we're still talking about a delta of, at most, 1-2 milliseconds. Most of them smaller than that. You can't tell the difference between 4ms of input lag and 5.5, amigo. (Note that the wired mice are the ones with 5.5ms input lag)
Post data showing their mice are slower. Go ahead. I'll wait.
It would do you well to talk to people who know more than you. Maybe reddit is more your speed if this is seriously your response to not knowing something. I heard they're very fond of ignorance and half-baked opinions on that website.
You are a legitimate shill. You continue to make these threads and post the same defunct points.
Go price a G303
Kys you dumb faggot
If your only response is "... but you're a shill" then you're a dumb reddit nigger
very convincing counter-argument there
A wireless mouse will always have worse latency and be more inconsistent.
Doesn't matter if you say I can't notice it. I would be bothered by knowing I'm not getting lowest possible input latency.
Just cause they're better now, why should I buy one? The cord doesn't bother me.
>It would do you well to talk to people who know more than you
Wired mice do not encapsulate the data they send and receive or authenticate this data because there's no reason to. It's a single point to point connection with no likelihood of the signal being interfered with by a second source. You literally do not know what you are talking about. The very fact that you would try to make this point speaks volumes about not only your lack of knowledge but the absolute fervor you are willing to exhibit to defend your failed point.
>unironically shilling this shit
You need to have your skull caved in.
literal children
generic AOpen mouse > all y'alls' gay shiny colored wireless mouse
wireless is better in current year simply because of logitech magic
can't really matter to most people
meanwhile professional counterstrike players are using wireless mice lmao
>A wireless mouse will always have worse latency and be more inconsistent.
maybe you should read a thing or two
>tried using my wireless mouse with the cable in
>that cord drag
how the fuck do wiredfags put up with this? they're probably the same type of people that still use 60hz monitors
Literal retard
Also using a G305, still on the included AA battery since early February, and I'm a NEET playing games 8hrs a day. The battery life seems to be insane.
I brought like 10 lithium batteries since they were recommended for this mouse but at this rate the mouse will die long before I even get through half of them.
Also for the input doubters, the current tech (g pro wireles + G305) has reached the point where the input difference is unnoticable and the weight is
Is the re-release MX518 good?
Imagine STILL using wireless trash after you tried them once and you realized how much of a pointless gimmick they were.
I get that some people are masochists but this is just something else entirely.
Don't expect to be taken seriously if you type like an ESL retard.
Except a 60hz monitor will consistently outperform a higher refresh rate one just like wired to wireless. Congrats on falling for marketing hype.
Bought g pro 6 months ago. Changed the 1 AA battery one time since then, love it
I got tired of fucking with the battery.
Holy fuck this is a serious poster. Please kill yourself
mx518 hero is pretty good
>hurr durrr the slower moniter is faster than the faster monitor
Literally you.
buying batteries is expensive, and i sit really close to my computer
GOAT mouse
Your still living 5-10 years ago. Wireless tech has improved a lot recently. Logitech's wireless mice in particular have 1/100th ms difference in input speed.
Plenty of non-shill sources you can look up if you don't want to believe it.
i'd buy one if i knew about one that is rechargable with long battery life
I'm pretty sure the point he's trying to make is that higher refresh rate monitors are typically sacrificing some input delay to cut costs because the major selling point of that monitor is the higher refresh rate. He should have mentioned the input delay.
I don't usually put any effort into punctuation or capitalization on the internet but I'll make an exception just for you, user.
And has a wired draped across the center of the windshield, right in the middle of your field of view, because... just because?
I'll take the wireless car, thanks. Also The G603 is only $55. If you want to play with a $25 mouse, by all means, go ahead. I'm sure there are some that are nice. I think the SteelSeries Rival 100 is around that price.
I'm not OP. I just switched to a wireless mouse and I like it a lot better. Had it been a SteelSeries or a Corsair or whatever, I imagine I'd have about the same experience. Not Razer though.
I also go in these threads because they tend to attract people who have literally no idea what they're talking about, who post with full conviction that they are right. Same reason I started my channel; I like to prove idiots wrong. Not "convince" - prove.
>A wireless mouse will always have worse latency and be more inconsistent.
Why? Also, prove it.
I'll give you an actual pro tip: you can't.
>Wired mice do not encapsulate the data they send and receive or authenticate this data because there's no reason to.
Okay, okay hold on. You don't even know what "encapsulate" means, not that you're using it correctly here anyway.
Do you think wired mice are sending raw, useless data directly from the sensor over the wire? No processing whatsoever, just effectively random voltage pulses for the computer to "figure out"? Is that how you think mice work?
At this point I'm pretty sure you're trolling, and if that's the case, 5/5. Otherwise get an electrical engineering degree first, make sure you actually understand how electronics work, then speak to me. Until then, be silent.
Do you think the "mouse industry" pays people to haphazardly astroturf for all wireless mice, regardless of the manufacturer? You really think Corsair and Logitech and SteelSeries and Razer are all gonna team up? Do you have stupid?
lol
he was clearly joking, you morons
>tfw almost every single mouse i've bought in recent years had the double clicking issue
Gonna just file this into the shit I'm never going to read folder.
don't worry bro I just need to send your mouse click up and down 4 protocol layers it'll be there soon
autism. just because you wrote a load of words and no one gave a fuck doesn't make you correct
You can't just murder these shills in broad daylight. I know they're stupid but I'm sure they had families.
Can't win em all
Bluetooth is unapologetic trash for mice, everyone knows this. No one uses it for gaming mice.
Except there's no wireless EC1 or IME3.0. Clawlets need not apply.
jesus christ get blown the fuck away
>show bluetooth when no wireless mice discussed in this thread use bluetooth
complete retard
Are you happy with yours? My G5 v2 mouse wheel is about to go and theres a crack in near the sensor housing so its about to kick the bucket. Would be nice to pick up the new mx518 before I'm SoL and it gets pricey due to more hype.
You know there a mouse pads that charge your mouse? Fucking third worlder.
>benq
>saying the same thing twice and then replying to yourself
Struck a nerve, did I?
>Bluetooth
Are you actually retarded?
I've had the G400S for about 5 years now and have no reason to give it up any time soon.
>he fell for the g502 meme
enjoy your fat mouse
and how many are sponsored by logitech?
i don't follow e-shit anymore, but 10 years in the past a lot of pros used mice with shitty laser sensors because they had contracts
True, but the G pro wireless, g703, g305, and have mediocre shapes. Former two have awkward backs that can't be gripped properly for palm (try switching between one and a zowie fk or ec). G305 retardedly curves inwards towards the bottom on the sides so you lose some space to grip, and it's already too short. Otherwise it's okay - specifically for fingertip grip (can't really recommend any of these mice to palm grippers), but you better have slim finger.
Oh wow I save so much space not having the millimetre thin wire going across my desk that wasn't blocking anything in the first place.
You shouldn't violate the rules of Yea Forums; especially when you're arguing. People might feel the urge to seek out enforcement.
going on 2 years strong user... plus it was cheap. i can't complain.
I guarantee you found Yea Forums in the last two years, are younger than 25 and make barely any money
perfection
who is this?
>and how many are sponsored by logitech?
none of those, they're all on teams where some players use zowie and some use logitech
Zowie (BenQ) EC series is literally the most used mouse by CSGO professionals.
I like it. The buttons feel good and it can save 5 profiles onboard even if you uninstall the software. They also added "g-shift" where you can bind it to a button and if you hold it all the other buttons can have a secondary command.
Yes, goy, it was a simple mistake, random *snrk* chance! I'm sure the next one will be FAR, heh, better...
you're mum is the most used by csog profesinalls lmoa
Wireless mice are only good for laptops when you don't wanna deal with a 3-5 foot cord
This post reeks of poorfag COPE
>choosing wireless
>giving up INFINITE POWER and PERFECT ACCURACY for tiny bit of non-existent convenience
haha go fuck off mate
Are you two like Zowie shills or are you actually this fucking stupid lmao
>INFINITE POWER
I got a G900 2 some years ago and upgraded to a G Pro Wireless 4-5 months ago.
I'll literally never go back to a wired mouse again
>logitech has their own wireless
>doesn't put it in mx518
what did they mean by this
>I don't understand the audio jack removal, when Steve Jobs was fingering audiophiles to orgasm about FLAC and other shit.
Jobs is gone, and even in his final years, Apple switched from substance to style.
Analog is the gold standard for AV because the D/A converter is the weakest link, and needs lots of room to work great. Airpods don't deliver that, so you get meh quality compared to a good converter. But they look good and are Apple so people buy that shit.
Just bought a wired mouse. Wireless a shit
Kys esport faggot, the g pro wireless is the best mouse of all time.
>Best sensor on the market
>Lightweight
>The side buttons are modular
>Great aesthetics
And most importantly,
>Repels the seething poorfags and clueless gaymen
mine started doing this a fucking weak ago, its bullshit
Note the faggots in this thread losing their shit over wireless despite all evidence pointing to it not being noticeable. They couldn't take the risk.
who the fuck actually posts like this
jesus fucking christ. Also look at the fucking ips per post ratio. Jesus christ time to get off this fucking site again
>once your mouse is done charging.
FUCKING REKT!
I had two deathadders start doubleclicking after a year, so said fuck that ever since.

steelseries rival 310, best mouse I have used.
most other mice are awful for palm or claw grip. deathadder is okay too.
what's the best low profile mouse?
Call me when they have 3D oppai mouse pads that can charge my mouse.
>cheap
>shit botnet software
Yeah no.
The gpw has the same 1ms response time as any other 1khz polling rate mouse but nice try.
