Was this a good intro?
Was this a good intro?
>only ugly grey trees to look at
>cheap exposition
Yes.
It was pretty memorable for the first time. Any playthrough afterwards and it just turned tedious. With the exception of it bugging out and the carriage spinning.
>carriage spinning
Lel, though this seemed to only happen with modded games.
It can also happen based on frame rate.
Happened all the time on the 360
Well never mind. I guess that's to be expected from bethesda.

Just so you know I'm not lying, here are my specs. This was bought from Bestbuy and even setup by a Geeksquad computer expert:
- 24" life good flatscreen monitor
- razor gaming mouse
- Windows 8
- Intel quadra processor
- Memory with 16 gigabytes of ram power
- One TERABYTE solid snake drive
- BluRay player
- Foxconn power supply with 400 wattage
- Sound Blaster sound card
- GE Force GT 520 video card
So after getting a $1500 gaming computer ($2100 after signing up for the extended warranty and 2 years of Geeksquad protection) the fallout game is STILL laggy! Not only that, but it can take up to 40 minutes just to log in if I do it after getting home from work.
I've verified with the Bestbuy salesperson that this computer should speed up my game, and if it's not then it's fallout's fault.
Nice job Todd Howard, you fail at making an game.
delicious pasta
Way too long. All Bethesda games past Morrowind take too long to get started.
buys day one DLC
I don't even know what you're trying to say. Are you implying Randy Pitchford is shilling for an 8 year old Bethesda game?
>Solid snake drive
>520 video card
>long slow forced intro you have no control over
>in a game all about running around and doing whatever you want
fuck were you thinking, todd? good thing there are mods that cut that out entirely.
There's a reason the game automatically saves the game with a regular save slot after the carriage ride.
The largest issue of the start is that it contains both a lengthy unskipable cutscene and tutorial section. Morrowind and New Vegas did the starting section perfectly in a sense that once you are out of the building you can do whatever you want.
Alternate Start cannot be divorced from a healthy skyrim install.
>16 gigabytes of ram power
She looks like she fucks Orcs.
>10 minutes of psuedo cutscene followed by 20 minutes of PRESS CTRL TO SNEAK
Modded that shit out the very second I could.
It isn't out of the question.
