Just finished my 2nd playthrough of Original Sin 2
it was nice
I only played it at launch. Did they improve it? and if so, in what way?
Well, they did a revamp into a "definitive edition", but it was mostly performance boosts - though apparently they did some work on Act 3 quests (mostly for a character I didn't have), a bit on Act 2, and a new tutorial. They also rebalanced Fort Joy, so it's a little harder to walk into fights above your level after your escape.
oh yeahm definitely. Arx Overhaul in definitive edition was very good. Made it more interesting then before. Alotta lines were re-recorded, dialogues improved, the Tags system actually do something
the Gods were retards
I like the gameplay but the writing isn’t great at all. Couldn’t stomach it in the first one, 2 fixed that and improved many other things.
i can't play these games, can't figure out the combat system or how i am meant to play, like how the fuck could i be everyone in an rpg? that's dumb
How low is your IQ?
obviously not low enough to enjoy games with shit combat and gameplay
How fucking retarded are you
kill yourself, nobody cares retard
dragon age inquisition handled this shit way better it's 2019 no reason games shouldn't have intelligent ai or action combat
this is bait
>red prince in party
cringe
BUBBLING SKIN AND BURNING KNUCKLE!
Was playing a lone wolf summoner Fane tactician, the biggest mistake I made was lettign RP die, and locked myself out of one of the best summons in the game.
Fuck man, after I played a summoner run previously and couldnt get that fucking dragon because only RP could do it. I thibk I can if I killed Sadha, but I dont know and lost my chance to find out. FML
I skipped him because my custom was a fighter. Is he especially irksome?
He's a smug prick through and through
I liked him, but he ain't got shit on pirate bro
Beast is probably the blandest companion in the game and his quest is easily the worst.
If I remember at one point if you stop him from getting laid he leaves your party.
Do you ever get to meet him again? When he started running away the game didn't allow me to initiate combat with him ( bad game design ) and I was hoping to kill him
Yeah he gets shafted in Arx with his personal quest, did they ever fix that with the definitive edition?
god that final boss was such bullshit
everything but the kitchen sink. and then the kitchen sink. here's all of your moral issues and shit replaced by a completely generic bland evil guy.
>The final boss
Come on, pyroclastic eruption/bloodstorm will make that first part a complete non-issue. Also if you take out Vredeman, the kraken wont attack. If you use control voidwoken on the kraken, it AND all of its summons will gang up on Braccus. If youre lone wolf fane, you can end the final fight in one turn without even trying.
Vredeman was the disguised baddy, right?
If I remember rightly, that fucker spent the entire fight teleporting away from you and dropping meteors on your ass. A massively damaging AoE spell in a tiny area when you have the Kraken, whoever you don't kill in the prior fight, and the other minibosses on you?
Never found a control voidwoken spell. Must not of had a class that could use it on my team.
I also didn't have Fane with me. My party was a custom character, the mage girl, the dwarf, and the hairy wolf guy.
I started playing it for the first time a couple days ago. I'm out of fort joy now, but I merely managed it not to die all the time. Is it supposed to be like that or am I making something wrong?
Daily reminder that God King deserved to win.
The start is tough, especially for new players. Keep looking for every advantage, especially when setting up fights. Crowd control and position is everything.
>not playing pathfinder
Do they have playable catgirls?
I was so tired of that shit that I just changed difficulty to easy in the House at the Edge of Fun
is pathfinder finally playable? I couldnt stomach the gamebreaking bugs
this is why my picrel is very relevant to divishitty fags
you are probably some smegma 2/10 male with Kenya-tier IQ who likes waifus and easy combat
it is
But i did, Lawful Evil best aligment
Based
Fuck fey
>that poll they made that heavily hints at them showing interest in turn-based combat system
>oh i cant handle quake on my console, halo is better game!
Was LE a aligment where you could grab everyone by the balls and go full Soviet Union?
>Fuck fey
I did. Literally.
>pick best alignment
>fuck it up by siding with f*y
LANTERN KING GETS THE MAGIC MISSILE TOO
Siding with Nyrissa is the only way to properly fuck over the Lantern King though.
I've beat the first game multiple times with different characters but i struggle to beat this, always drop it half way through because I get tired of keeping up with the equipment bloat for my entire party.
Also lack of any unique items that don't trun into utterly useless junk after 2 levels.
The shield system also gets tiresome, it makes fights very samey because you can't apply different tactics, always have to DPS burst.
It was fully playable a month or two after launch, go ahead.
Lawful evil is basically ruling with an iron fist and executing the fuck out of everyone who doesn't follow the law.
So yeah, kinda Soviet Union. LE choices are surprisingly good in Pathfinder too, something I really didn't expect.
I found the first game harder than this one, mainly because the leveling curve felt less smooth so it was easier to run into areas where you just get dumpstered.
I agree on the retarded equipment scaling though.
Is Pathfinder patched already?
Deflect will have him take damage from meteors. If youre magic, use Kens deflector and hit him with his own attack
If he teleports away from you, bring him to you with your own teleport, if youre physical. You can also bind him to place with torturer+wprm tremor. You can do that with multiple characters, really.
Once Dallis is weakened, vredeman will get the kraken. At this point, if Dallis is alive, she will attack you AND the summons, it becomes a free-for-all. You can see where Im going with this.
You get control voidwoken by giving windego a swornbreaker. If you missed it, try dominate mind instead. I dont know if the summons will change sides, but tue Kraken definitely will and once you defeat Braccus, it will fuck off, so focus your firepower on him above all else
Yes, I find the idea of taking a few minutes to dump a suite of buffs on my boys before every fight and taking a smoke break after quite mentally exhausting. Curse my unhappy fate as a dimwitted homunculus. Truthfully, I've played the tabletop game for a while, and I'm interested to see how a digital adaptation of an adventure module turns out now that the worst bugs have been fixed. However, I have a backlog I want to work through before I buy anything new.
Yeah. It still has some minor bugs, but in my most recent playthrough (just after the 2nd DLC was released) the worst but I encountered was fixed by simply saving and reloading. As far as I know, there are no more game-breaking bugs in the game now.
>want to play as a villain
>can't bring myself to consume source
Well, you can still be an asshole without actually eating souls. Just keep taking the asshole option, and you'll get your villain tag soon enough.
>Not devouring the source of those dickish magister inquisitors, white magisters, Roost Anlon the pedo, and ESPECIALLY ALEXANDER
Granted you dont need to devour spirits to keep your source topped up, but seriously. I loved eating them on my villian fane playthrough. Some spirits dont deserve to exist
