Classic FPS games usually stay engaging even with meta guns due to being pretty balanced, stays engaging since it's not essentially an autoplay like certain Card Games have with meta decks.
Figting Games really depend on balancing because most people who complain are just salty, Tierfags are annoying when they just spout whatever they heard from Evo and eventhubs
That being said there's plenty of shooters that have special abilities and don't rely entirely on aim and gamesense are massive cancer. Overwatch is really gay when it comes to balance due to DUDE SHIELDS AND HEALING LMAO
