I play 6 of these characters at a decent level.

This is how I see it:
Tier lists exist, but I don't know the single greatest person in smash, and I do know "greatest" is a fluid category and people will continually get better/worse over time.

So no matter how low tier my character is, I can still be a better player than someone playing high tier.

As a matter of fact, the fact that I'm playing a low tier character and they're playing a high tier character means that I HAVE to be better at the game to win.

And so I don't worry about beating characters, I worry about beating players. And I will take my 30 up front losses. Because after that learning curve (and I am a slow learner), I will be disassembling mr. high tier like a harry potter lego set to build my own home for my imaginary cool guy and his cool lego car.

And he'll be back next week with a new high tier, and I will destroy him, because he will have the same idiosyncracies with his new character, because he's not learning a new character, he's just leveraging a diff moveset to play the same way he did before. People who play multiple characters have good fundamentals, and Ultimate is prob the easiest game to move between multiple characters. But knowing your character inside and out means you can respond and adapt to any challenge.

It's probably because no one plays them. Less knowledge makes them kinda dangerous.

He's easy to dodge, sure, but the huge range and absurd damage/knockback of his attacks makes up for all of the moves he's not hitting. You only need like two to four really good smash attacks to kill someone depending on their weight.

Nair and up-air are both fast as fuck, hit like a truck, and are safe on shield

He has a surprising amount of relatively safe moves to throw out in neutral.
But more than this, I think Ganondorf has an intimidation factor that no other character in this game has. If you're playing against a good Ganon, you know that if you fuck up even slightly you'll easily die. It's hard not to be a little cautious while playing against him, which Ganon can also capitalize on.

Is Mega Man still considered honest or did Leaf Shield piss everyone off too much?

Ganondorf needs 2 reads to do what most other characters do in 4-5 reads, so the intimidation of having to fight someone like that can easily get in your head
His aerials are all amazing, especially his Nair and Up Air
FSmash has so much shieldstun that it's safe on shield (unless it's parried)
He has probably the best command grab in the game (Up B)
Down B is a fast and strong burst movement option

He still has the usual weaknesses but his strengths make him insanely polarized in this game. He's either getting destroyed or destroying.
To beat a Ganondorf, simply exploit his slow movement and bad recovery, and beyond all else, do not let him get in your head. It's a slow and lame way to fight, but it works.

Pac-Man really should be here. He sucks dick. He’s only doing well in tourny’s right now because of matchup unfamiliarity. No kill power, everything he throws out can be used against him, easily gimpable. People who think he’s high tier just don’t know how to fight him.

He can do 50% just with a well-place Galaxian and an aerial or two. Any good Pac won't let any of his tools be used against him because he's constantly both on your ass and too far away to hit close-range. He's not high tier but you're sleeping on him.

Up-tilt is a fucking godly move but Up Smash can and will BTFO people. It has leg invincibility for the full duration of the hitbox. It's just not good against grounded Pichu and such.
