The problem with this game is that the locations are so varied you think your setup is solid and then it suddenly chokes in some sections
I play on GeForce Now, and that is a Tesla card with 16gigs of vram, and the game still weirdly chokes in some specific situations when there are too much NPCs
The performance is good, but erratic

Just remember that it's the fault of retards who supported Hitman 1 with it's delayed episodic unfinished releases. Hitman 1 was meant to be a full game but they had to do that because of time constraints they always intended to make 2 the full experience. Then at some point they noticed their fans were actually so retarded they praised them for releasing fractions of the game seperately over the year and now we have the mess we see in OPs image. Hitman fans killed their own franchise. I hope all this DLC sells like shit.

I agree on that this is what it appears to be, but to be fair, vanilla Hitman 2 is packed full of content.
In my opinion, I would go vanilla because the current pass content is filler more than meaningful stuff (and snipper shit)
All the money is in the locations: levels are huge... 1location is like 4 "levels" interconnected
I paid key site price, though ($25ish for gold edition)

But 2 is the full experience

I've failed 2 of the elusive targets and missed the first one. For each of the ones I failed, I killed the target then got shot while running away. Do I need to get better at firefights or plan ahead more?

Hitman 2 main campaign is easily 30-35 hour of content to 100%, and the season pass adds challenges and shit like that, on top of 2 new sandbox levels
The goal is still trying to make you play the game every week... It's probably the game has a very high rate of abandonment, because it is not particularly easy. Sometimes I postpone an elusive target because I'm not in the mood and I don't want to fuck up

I haven't got it yet either. I suspect waiting for the whole game to be completed like a Gold edition and then waiting for a discount will be the cheapest.

It's a separate mode focusing only on sniping. You can't move from the starting position and have to use the sniper rifle to kill your targets without the bodies getting spotted or, if a body is found, without your targets escaping

I love Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 to no end, but I'm not gonna pretend I care about Ghost Mode, Sniper Mode or unlocks that are either reskins or are unusable when going for SA. The Bank and The Resort do have me hyped, though.
