Underrated as fuck soundtrack, but my personal favorite will always be good old DKC2
Can't go wrong with David Wise.
I think Robobot and Star Allies overshadowed Rainbow Curse since it didn't help it was on the Wii U and was a sequal to Canvas Curse. Not many people were too intrested.
Still, the fact that nearly half of the games OST is optional remixes of fan fave tracks including a tribute to Nico Nico remixes / YouTubePoop remixes even if unintentional is hilarious.
Spyro 1's soundtrack remains my favourite because it still sounds so magical
also fuck Reignited's soulless music

Fuck now I want a Kirby RPG.
caligula effect has a god-tier soundtrack, as you could probably expect from a game about idols and vocaloids.

Dingodiles made me extremely curious about how they even made it. That acapella didgeridoo was on fucking point.
I don't care for soundtracks that "feel" for you, so to speak (e.g. Final Fantasy), I much prefer John Carpenter's approach to film scoring which I think Michael McCann pulls off very well in Human Revolution.
The music isn't the main event, it doesn't take away or distract from the game or force the game, but guides the emotion of the moment to a higher plane and sells the tone of each scene and sequence without spoiling it.
How was the overall reception of Reignited? I heard from people it was 'alright'
Honestly one of the creepiest songs I've heard, it gives me chills. Very well done, it really does Dingodile's character justice.
I'm playing this game on PC using Cemu and a Wacom tablet, it's pretty good actually. And yes, this is the most use I've ever gotten out of the tablet, drawing is 2hard.
I've been listening to N. Sane Trilogy's music a lot lately, I think overall it's better than the original's.

I'd rate it lower than the Crash remake. It has the art direction of a kickstarter 3d platformer for one thing. It's kind of interesting to see how even with modern graphics, a game can still look worse than a PS1 era low poly game purely because the colour palette in the original was so great.
it's still decent though, but is pretty much the definition of a soulless remake.

It sounds like a fucking Mecha Anime theme
Too hard to pick one
>Pyre, Transistor, and Bastion
>Gravity Rush 1 and 2
>Jet Set Radio and Future
>Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie
All so fucking great
Props on liking Rainbow Curse's OST, it's amazing
The Binding of Isaac Rebirth and it's DLCs.

Dropsy has pretty good music.
Hypnospace has... intresting music but is kinda light.
>Bastion
>Jet Set
>Banjo
All good, still have to play Gravity Rush so i'm not spoiling the music,
Ridiculon's music is kinda hit or miss for me. I love Satans and Moms theme but feel like delirium music is a mess.
Antibirth has amazing fucking music though.
I'm curious, how do you feel about The End is Nigh's soundtrack?

Pretty fantastic imo. Exodus is a personal fave.
>god tier visuals/music, easily some of the best in the series
>gameplay is gimmicky shit
>next console title backpeddles and is just a shittier version of the 3DS games whose only saving grace is multiplayer
I really hope Kirby goes back to trying unique art/gameplay styles, outside of this game everything since RtDL has been the same sterile 3D style.
Canvas Curse was a neat one-off entry but Rainbow Curse just is a retread with features REMOVED.
>god tier visuals
>Forces the player to look at them through the Wii U game pad.
This got me so angry.
HAL said that after Star Allies, they're doing something different with Kirby. Assume its going to either be the jump to 3D or something completely different. I think they also know that fans have gotten rather bored of the 2D formula.
My biggest issue is how the finales of the past few games show that the team is clearly really talented, but outside of that they play it so safe. Robobot mixed up locales a little and the mecha gimmick was actually fun for a change, and as a result we got one of the best Kirby games in years. They just need to take more risks and add a fucking hard mode already for fucks sake.
A hard mode would be really refreshing. Heroes in another Dimension proves they can make their bosses and stages harder. The fact that most streamers and people who played that game had to rely on characters who can abuse I-frames however kinda has me curious if even if they did make the game harder, what would stop people from cheesing it by just using High DPS abillties with damage immune blocks?
