I hope Team Sonic Racing is also good so I can proudly play and display all three games. I have Super Mario Odyssey, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Sonic Forces but the latter is an embarassment compared to the other two.

MK8 only drops to 30fps on 3 and 4-player races, regardless of mode. It's still 60 in handheld up to 2 players.

Still nothing compared to some other more standard racing games on the market. I kind of always wished to see a more light hearted experience with stuff like Items, but the speed of a game like F-Zero or Outrun.

They aren't forbidden to go fast, but going fast all the time is counter-intuitive for gameplay revolving around items, power slides and keeping a tight racing line. If you could just go super fast you could outrun items and powersliding for a boost wouldn't be as effective

First place gets hit by the least amount of items so once you get to first place you will very likely take off and leave everyone else biting the dust (if you're playing against human players, because the CPU AI is STILL the rubberbanding bullshit it's always been)
