Steam hides negative reviews in a short period.
People have started bombing with positive reviews but the text body is shit.
Basically, you can't trust a simple thumbs up/down anymore and are forced to look at the comments.

Yeah, they should do it on the Epic Store.

In general in online shops you don't have to trust individual reviews, but you can trust the consensus. If a product has a lot of bad reviews citing similar issues, these issues are likely there. Then you can decide if that's a dealbreaker or not.

They are, this is proof that Valve's new system that's strictly to prevent review-bombing from actually affecting the game's overall score unless you want it to, since it's opt-out is working.

I think there's an option to not have it affect scores but still see the comments as well rather than all or nothing.

Best part is that fucking snake Randy Pitchford was bitching about how Valve wasn't doing anything about the Reviewbombing except you just proved they did.
