Not OP, I just got to the island where you fight Vulcan Raven. So far I think the game is decent, but I like REmake better since I could play as Jill. Playing as men makes the game less scary.

The island at the end is the weakest part. It becomes a full scale shooter at that point.

Not OP but I just got to the first enemy in the House. Dont want to count my chickens yet but I think this is the greatest game Ive ever played, when does it start sucking?

"It" is also a lot of fun
The Regeneradors are straight up the scariest enemy in the series.
The music is kickass.

You Just say the two reasons that make the Island bearable at best...too bad once you Discover Krauser weakness the Boss fight get easy as fuck.And once again,the músic is the weakest of the three segmentos nine try but the two cowadotty segments totally Destroy the flow of the game

It's still fun, man. Having a knife duel and avoiding his attacks/countering is pretty neat.
Besides, I admit the Island segment is weak, but I still like it.

The only part with ok pacing is the village. The castle and the island are ultra-boring considering they’re mostly enemy gauntlets

I disagree. The castle is one of the most satisfyingly paced segments I've ever experienced in vidya. It's a fucking trial, but a god damn satisfying one. You feel how long you've come, how much you've fought by the end.
Returning to that big door with the chimera statue a few chapters later after doing a bunch of stuff? Great.
Seeing just how big this castle is from start to end? Fantastic
All that build up leading to that big tower where you face Salazar at the top? Love it.
It has scale and I really dig it.

but you literally just walk up to him and knife his knee until he dies hes stunlocked

plus if you play on professional you actually run out of ammo for most of your guns pretty commonly unless your abusing tmp melee spam

If you are enjoying the game mostly for horror then you will start to really dislike it when it gets to the castle, horror elements are still there but it plays out like a hilarious campy action film... That's not a bad thing for me though, love RE4
