lost kingdoms on the Gamecube.

is that any good? people have recommend it to me but i never l looked into it

nice, thanks

Advane Wars 2 vba, having a blast its really good

I beat that for the first time in November. Good game. Anyway I finished Seiken Densetsu 3 last month, so I don't have much else in mind for emulation mow.

its pretty great. its all about collecting monster cards and building the right deck to tackle the missions. the down side is you will have to farm missions to get the cards you want and your only allowed to pick three cards at random or hope the magic shop sells the right cards.

I'm not emulating anything right at this very second, but I am playing heartgold for the first time. haven't played a pokemon game since pearl when it came out and I remember not being a huge fan of it

first time playing? i just finished duel strike hard mode and its not as great as AW2 but still pretty fun.

also Breath of Fire 2, kinda like it more than final fantasy desu

Yeah first time, I can see where Into the Breach got their ideas from, played that last year

my life

sex. with my hand

From your description I'm imaging Folklore + Baten Kaitos.

I am amazed how well Suikoden 2 has aged. Those nice big sprites did wonders.

Yeah the Breath of Fire games where top of the line Jrpgs. All but 5 and 6.

thanks for the info

shame they botched the translation and that's what most remember

Breath of Fire 2 (SNES) has been retranslated some time ago, I highly recommend playing it

playing through mother 3 again. trying to feel that sadness i did the first time at the ending.

Shadow Hearts. Pretty good so far.

If im. Being honest look into 5 (called BoF Dragon Quarter) its for the ps2. Its one of those games you hate or love with no in between. 6 on the other hand is a phone game, so its shit.

Always good to see someone playing it. Its one of my personal favs. 2 is good but its based off the bad ending of the first game fyi. 3 is ok if not as good as the first 2.

cool thank you

bayonetta 2

Dragon Quarter is fine once you realize it's built for replays and you actually NEED to replay it to see all the content. It's fine to go overboard with the counter until you learn how to play. In a sense it has some roguelike in its DNA and JRPGs fans tend to be allergic to anything different than the norm.

>Vagrant Story
>Romancing SaGa
>Last Remnant

>Baten Kaitos.

i was thinking of playing that next. is it any good?

I think it was also the foresight to counter or mitigate some traditional JRPG problems.

>random encounter rate
Combat is blazingly fast in Suikodens and can be automated.

>experience grinding for multiple characters
Characters level real fast in Suikodens and your bench warmers will be up to snuff after just couple of fights.

5 just not for me. because its different but because it's just not fun. Ive ways wanted to replay it since it been almost what 20 years? Maybe someday.

>>Vagrant Story
Fucking love that game.

I'm getting mame setup about to go on a beatemup and fighting binge. I wasted several hours trying to figure out how to create a config file that maps all neo geo controls the same so I don't have to set those up on a per game basis like with everything else (Im obsessed with recreating each cabs button layout on my arcade stick)

I know it's possible but I can't figure it out, so I'm just gonna setup one config then copy paste and rename

Yes it is. A few glaring flaws aside its really good. The prequel is great too. But play it after the 1st cuz spoilers.

I can't stop playing Pokemon gens 1-3

I'll ask here. If i wanted to find isos for wii u games where would go?

Set up Wii U USB Helper and download them straight up.

I'm on my fuckin phone and I recognized this from the thumbnail, holy shit. Suikoden rules.

Don't forget to get the good ending

Is that still working? Last I used it it said the service was shut down.

Why not Gens 4 or 5?

The first Bakugan game for PS2. Is there a code that lets me have all the Leonidases?

as a 30 yrs old broomstick should I feel like a pleb bc I've only enjoyed xenogears as a jpeg in its entirety? I've played all the SNES and ps1 jrpgs that are widely considered "important", but beating them (laboring through the last 1/6th of the game and ultimately quitting) is too much of a drag. The only RPGs that I felt had a good enough plot to play to completion have been baldurs gate 2, morrowind, xenogears, ff7, and deus ex.

while xenogears has some kino to it i really feel like 3/4 of it is pretty shit. if you find jrpg boring I'm surprised it kept your interest at all

persona 2 innocent sin for PSP on my hacked PS3

not that good desu

updated the emu and gonna see if Gregory Horror Picture Show actually is stable

I'm having fun playing Castlevania aria of sorrow.
I'm being bodied by everything in The Arena.

There are hundreds and hundreds of very good games, but realistically I won't be able to even play most of them, so I only downloaded the ones I was most interested in
for psx:
Resident Evil – 1996
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - 1997
Parasite eve - 1998
Resident evil 2 1998
Parasite eve 2 - 1999
Silent Hill – 1999
Digimon world - 2000
Crisis 2 – 2000
Chrono Cross - 2000
Vagrant Story - 2000
The legend of dragoon - 2000
Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix – 2001
Final Fantasy Chronicles (FF IV+Chrono trigger) 2001
Alone in the dark: the new nightmare – 2001
Digimon world 3 – 2002

for ps2:
Silenthill 2 – 2001
Onimusha: warlords – 2001
Resident evil code: veronica x – 2001
The lord of the rings: the third age – 2004
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the cursed king - 2004
Shin megami tensei: digital devil saga - 2004
Onimusha 2: samurai’s destiny
X-men legends - 2004
X-men legends II: rise of apocalypse - 2005
Peter jackson’s king kong: the official game of the movie – 2005
Shin megami tensei: digital devil saga 2 - 2006
Rogue galaxy – 2007

TES: Daggerfall. It's a lot more fun than I expected.

Attached: Capture.png (1176x745, 234K)

I really dislike the dual screen emulation on my phone. Whichever mode I use it's shit

PSX
Valkirie Profile
PE2
Suikoden 1&2
Panzer Front
Tactics Ogre

Why not daggerfall unity? It's supposedly pretty much complete.

Persona 2: IS
Having a blast so far, I'm heading up to Caracol at the moment on top of that mountain. It's a weird change of pace from the other Persona games that I've played, but not in a bad way

Not really, but sort of emulating because the launch edition Wii has gamecube hardware and bios, so you can play gcn isos console perfect, via disc bypass, but lots of bloody roar, and ultimate muscle legends.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I'm on the last chapter, it's been good, but there's too much padding, I'm at 50 hours, game should have been like 30.

Because last I looked, 'pretty much complex' was still missing a few big things, especially in the dialogue system. It felt like a safer bet to just download the version pre-installed with all the mods that fixed essential game problems.

Truth be told, I originally downloaded it to rip the sprites. When I decided to actually play the game, the above is why I went with the current install instead of grabbing DF Unity.

Nothing right this moment, but the last thing I got done emulating were the two pre-Aria GBA Castlevania games.
Played through them with filters, something I had never done before since GBA emulation is particularly borked because of the deliberate oversaturation of the games. There were just so many filters, I just had to end up picking something at random and hope it looked good.

Digimon World, I also have Ape Escape sitting around for when I have a chance. Been wanting to go play some of the early pokemon games too.

Not emulating but playing an open source port of Dune II

I loved Dragon Quarter and enjoyed 1 and 2 but could never get into 3 or 4. Should I give them an honest shake sometime?
