Here's my take:

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was ruined for me when they dropped Sands of Time's voice actor.

Devil May Cry 4 Dante was well-acted.
Devil May Cry 5 Dante was not. But it's likely not his fault so much as the script and voice direction he was given. Still a bad performance, but I wouldn't have changed the voice actor knowing that'd happen, because anyone else wouldn't be Dante.

I loike Royn's voice actor as well

For me, no western VA can even come close to this. They're all just one-trick ponies.

there's definitely a sense of progression since he goes from being depressed over his brother to getting over it more, especially when he discovers Nero is his nephew.

in 5 if you look at how he talks to himself vs other people you can see that he's mostly depressed and he's still doing his wacky woohoo act until he's alone in Hell with Vergil.

For the longest time I kinda thought that Nero's Devil Bringer was Vergil's Devil Arm itself, and that the spectre was Vergil's guardian spirit. They never gonna explain Nero's arm though.

For me Vergil should've stayed dead and gave the yamato to Nero as a second weapon, and make Nero grow and experience what Vergil did but this time he won't fall to the power autism his father had, that could've been way better
