gaping dragon is a pretty terrible fight, it’s just puking up everywhere, jumping and breaking lock on and fucking your camera, or charging at you so you can whack the tail and hopefully not get hit by the fucked hit boxes on its back legs, don’t be stupid

I never said it was good, I said it was better than all the mini boss fights in Sekiro put together.

Oh fuck off. Most of the "bosses" in Sekiro are mini bosses. Even the actual bosses would be considered gimmicky in DaS.

Don't get me wrong, it has a great world (Apart from Ashina Depths, which is as geographically retarded as Iron Keep), but the boss fights and enemies generally are absolute fucking shit.

The whole combat is focused on posture. It's not a gimmick, it's the main mechanic.

In DaS it would be a gimmick.
