Dragon Quest looks good but that pokemon one looks fucking bad
DQ looks solid, though I really wish they stuck with the Toriyama designs. Seems they could render DQ characters into 3D just fine if XI is any indication.
That Pokemon though, eugh. is the best way to describe it, in an unflattering way.

Pokemon looks weird. they already have decent 3d models and 3d designs for those characters, just use those.
DQ5 looks fine, they changed enough that its not uncanny anymore. Just looks like how to train my dragon quest.
Although if they wanted good 3d all they had to do was hire studio orange.

DQ looks okay. Should've stuck with the Toriyama artstyle, but it's bearable. The Pokemon one is nightmare fuel.

At least it's not the TV anime. It's the one that got the most JUSTed when Gen7 made it's debut. Also Movies 20 and 21 were fine. It's just this one where they are going for a remake.

Dragon Quest is fine. While the lack of Toriyama's style is a shame, it looks like a decent adaptation.
The Mewtwo Strikes Back remake can go jump off a cliff. 99% of the time the "soul vs soulless" meme is retarded. This is that 1%. Everything about it is wrong.
