Miners detect when your PC is idle. If your post is not ironic, check that shit.
>try to plug PC
>get zapped because by feet is touching the floor

>SSD starts spinning

>suddenly pc fans start spinning
>fitgirl still unpacking
Why can't we just play the other game?
>rosemary
>heaven restores you in life
>turn on light switch in bedroom
>PC in other room wakes up from sleep mode
Should I be worried? Is my wiring fucked up?
>shut down pc every night before i go to bed

>PS3 turns on
>Downloads game I preordered
>Shuts itself off
I freaked out for a good 10 seconds then I realised my game was already downloaded
>laptop randomly makes clicky noises
I've had it for about 5 years, is it about to die or what?
>not touching the PC
>HDD light nonstop blinking
>turn on PC
>greeted with CMD for a second then disappears
>sleeping
>pc on a different floor so I can't hear it overheat and start a housefire
You HDD is in danger. Hope you have that shit backed up.
Have someone mixed up pcie and cpu power connectors?
>I've had it for 5 years
>About to die
Can you even do that? The sockets have different shapes.
But, hey, who's on trial?

ROSEMARY
It's failing to check the media
how are things on the west coast?
>command prompt flashes for a split second
sounds like it's running through your disc drives or USBs. Unless you're trying to boot from them it's working as intended.
Fucking Windows used to boot in the middle of the night to update
IT TOOK A LIFESPAN WITH NO CELLMATE
No, it's probably just a ghost.

No, it's just me.
So nothing's wrong then?
I wish for sweet death every night so im fine with that.
It could be wake on lan.
But my computer is off... Maybe it's the ps4?
>keygen music starts blasting
Where is this from? Why is it being posted so much?
if it's running fine, nope, it's all ok
older boards used to print tons of extraneous errors and getting something like what you did shouldn't be a massive cause for alarm, check your BIOS settings and see if your system is trying to boot from CD/USB before HDD if you're really concerned
Its Evil
your boot order is messed up
We had the same exact thread yesterday. I don't get it btw

what happened, bros?
You're letting Windows reboot on its own after updates, or it's running scheduled defragmentation
>fans click everytime they spin up
I know this is how some are built but goddamn. the last thing you want to hear from a expensive ass electronic component is clicking.
>turn on PC

yeah i'm sure your future girlfriend is gonna love spending the night at your place with that shit going all night... oh wait you actually don't need to worry about that
Coming with me...
Sleeping in the same room as your PC is degenerate as fuck.

Fuck off, holy shit I hate this board
No joke sometimes my computer turns itself on overnight, is there an actual reason for this?
not him but my gf of 8 years has no problem with it.

Yikes!
you might have a bios setting like power on alarm or something similiar, or you might have a task on the task scheduler that has a wake on condition
>Turn the computer off
>Turn the TV on. 30 minute sleep timer. Some lazy documentary on netflix I recommend Wild China. It's sogud.
>Eventually roll over to try to sleep
>The TV clicks off. Dead silent in the room. Dog curled up against you keeping you nice and warm on a chilly night.
>tfw literal heaven
I spent so long leaving the TV/PC on while going to sleep or setting a timer long enough that I fall asleep before the TV goes off. Now just a bit of tube while comfy up in bed then going to sleep in silence is the fucking best. I've been missing out.
>3am
