When the overloading buff runs out it chunks half your health.
Because his strengths lie in his attack speed + proc rate. He's one of the two (three?) characters with a proc rate of 1.0, and has the fastest attack speed among them, so he's the best for on-hit items. Sticky Bombs are on-hit and have the best stacking ability in the game (parabolic increase up to 39, then it's a linear increase), so running Commando and bumping into a Sticky Bomb 3d printer is basically a guaranteed win as far as making it to the "endgame" (aka enemies stop spawning). It's one of the best builds atm.
If they ever nerf Sticky Bomb stacks he'll become total shit and I'll be sad.
Ill break it down for you simple
Commando: Stimulant (get fucked)
Mul-T: Stimulant, Speed upgrades, Brittle Crown and a proc item guarantees unlimited gold
Huntress: Stimulant, Infusion, Buckler, Backup mag
Engi: Fungus, anything really.
Artificer: Ukulele, Backup mag
Merc: Backupmag
From what I can tell the few times I picked it up:
One elite turns half your HP to a shield, when the effect expires, that shield turns to no health so you lost 50% HP.
Fire elite gives you a flame trail, not really sure how strong that really is.
Then there is an elite that explodes when it dies, if you really take that effect, then there's nothing really in it for you.

user, the spreadsheet is saying that sticky bombs will increase your dps by a given percentage which scales to the actual number of your dps.
If your dps is 50, one sticky bomb increases it by 12.5%. If your dps is 500, one sticky bomb increases it by 12.5%. etc

The second colomn is not DPS increase, it's effective damage per hit increase. Let's say a commando shoots six times per second for the sake of argument, if he had 1 sticky he would on average get 12.5*6 = 75 extra damage per second (DPS), assuming you got 12.5 by multiplying proc chance and bomb damage.
This would be a lower DPS increase for say, huntress firing 3 times per second with the same proc coefficient.

Right now there isn't a lot. First game had more stage progression and a final boss, the fun comes from doing it over and over with different items and especially artifacts (which aren't in yet) which can change the game drastically, trying out other characters and unlocking all items pretty much.

Yes, they prevent all fall damage including falling off the stage and respawning. You don't need to jump to trigger it, just a passive effect.

I didn't lose it, I simply forgot about it. There hasn't been a whole lot of stuff being made since people (rightfully) lost interest in Warframe.

All the references to damage% in the game mean percent of the characters base damage, which increases each level. So at the start of the game a skill like double tap does 2 x 90% of commando's base 12 damage, which is 2 x 10.8 damage and a single sticky bomb if it activates will do 250% -> 30 damage.
Its not too bad. The game is clearly playable and fun, its just missing a bunch of features that would make it GOTY material. So far we've got a small handful of maps, about seven monster types and just over half the loot the full game will have.
Its fun but I don't want to burn out on it before the devs add the really good shit and hopefully improve optimization a bunch for those of us with frame rate issues

I did it, bros. I broke the game. Mobs stopped spawning because even a pack of overloading worms melted before my eyes. Also, fuck faggots who say rusty key is bad, at least third of my red items were from rusty boxes. All you need to do is initiate teleport charge and watch for red chains to easily spot the box.

If in doubt, play like a complete bitch. Run the fuck away and only stop to keep the cooldowns rolling. Don't even stop for that if you're really on the ropes. The rest of it will come pretty naturally, like what items your character synergies with, or which enemies are a complete motherfucker for them, but none of that really matters if you keep dying before you get to the hard parts because you think you can take on both the teleporter boss(es) and a fuckhueg horde of mobs head on.

Dunno, but proc coeficcient is dependent on the skill rather than the character. For instance strafe gets 1.0 but arrow rain gets a pitiful 0.1

Yeah, and a lot of the blues are great too. I've had far more success in Monsoon solo games since I started buying glass lenses rather than praying I get some good items to carry me to the late game. Not to mention how overpowered the Gesture is with the current amount of equipment. If we got more situational equipment to make it harder to find the missile launchers/milky chrysalis/capacitors then it would probably be more balanced.
I don't like the lunar coin system though. The blue items are meant to have big downsides to balance them out, so most of them wouldn't be broken if they were more easily available, and if they WERE good enough that they were something you could only get every couple games then I wouldn't want the possibility of someone being grouped with someone able to grind to have a good run.

RoR2 defiantly feels more luck based than the first game did. In the first game I could get to stage 3 every time even with a shit build, but in 2 I'm pretty much fucked 100% if I get some bullshit like a Warbanner on stage 1 when there are only 6 chests to open. There is no difficulty cap in either risk of rain game. It will continue scaling until you either die or your computer melts.
It's getting harder until you overpower even the most hardest mobs and then game stops spawning enemies.

If I remember correctly, RoR would start spawning more and more elites, then more and more bosses. I don't think your computer would melt in the extremely high levels, just that a lot of bosses would spawn.
First of all, you're a massive loser if you cheat in coins just to stack transcendence or gesture.
Secondly, the 1 lunar coin requirement to activate newt altars is extremely cheap and you probably have less than 20 hours if you think getting lunar coins is difficult.
I don't mind having to do it once for an unlock, but I would hate being pressured to do it in every run because getting to it is the best option ala Dead Cells.
Don't rely on the pods, they will fuck you over by giving you duplicate effigies of grief and hellfire tinctures to waste your coins.

The red trades are basically the only good thing about bazaar. Late game, health is nearly always better than shields since there's many items that allow you to regen in combat. Gesture is the most useful lunar item.
