Best capture card on the market for it's price/value?
I've used Elgato in the past, and while the software is great, I feel like thy've been coasting with development, while still being one of the more expensive products on the market--both for regular and UHD. I've been looking at Avermedia's offerings, but there software and and support has been lackluster in the past.
Do any external capture cards do 4K yet I don’t want to waste a slot to have internal capture

i use an avermedia lgpe which i got a few years back. i don't use it for anything crazy high end, but it gets the job done for streaming/local recording

Am I the only one gaving trouble getting that pro card to work with OBS?
probably because a good amount of streamers use that card with OBS.

why do you need a video capture card? can't you just record with your normal graphics card or somethnig? is it like having an exclusive gpu just for recording or something and have better performance?

>Ultra HD 4K Pass Through >still records amazing game plays at Full HD 60 fps Wew lad
I think it would require a thunderbolt to do it, USB can't handle uncompressed 4k/60fps yet.
Dylan Reed
No. I always have to toggle some display setting if I'm changing output sources or if a PS3 game boots up, because OBS doesn't automatically reenable the display when it momentarily loses signal.

are you retarded? no-thing is just the opposite of thing
I have a Chink capture card, I don't know if you trust chink equipment, I use it to record my shitty videos that get 1 or 2 views but I like doing them because I am an idiot. No, I won't link my channel here, don't worry
Noah Carter
Since the last OBS update, it doesn't want me to record anything, it always says encoding overload even if I set everything at 240p and 30fps. Going back to version 22 has no issues at 1080p at 60fps
