The writing and characters are a complete mixed bag of quality, some with genuinely decent dialogue, while others being massive self-insert furries with giant horse dicks. But the real issue is that certain fetishes are not only a majority presence in the game, but that they are unavoidable if you want to experience certain content. And with how prevalent it is, futa horsedicks are the most common offender here. In this side quest I described, you can go through the entire start of it just being nice and charitable, then faced with an inescapable choice of fucking someone you don't want to. Then, the game nearly guilt trips you in other scenarios, with some characters like the wolf herm or bunny herm getting super emotional or cutting off major side quests because you don't want to get a giant dick in your ass.

Ironically, the outright gay orc you find in the mire is a shining example of how it should be done, in that he propositions you and you can choose between turning him down nicely, accepting, or turning him down harshly. Turning him down nicely continues his small side quest and everything is fine. You don't have to fuck him to continue having the character exist in your game. Though I shouldn't be surprised the one character who isn't a furry with a giant horsecock is better written.
