>PlayStation 5 aka PS5 is expected to release sometime in 2020 and will have amazing new features and specs. One of the features it will bring us is something called PS Plus Premium. According to an anonymous EU based game developer who is working on a PS5 launch title, PS5 PS Plus Premium will offer players guaranteed video game betas and alpha access as well as the ability to create private servers.
>Apart from these two features, the developer didn’t mention anything else. However, he did confirm that PS Plus Premium will run parallel with the base PS Plus. Sony isn’t attending E3 2019 so we expect PS Plus Premium details during a State of Play stream or at PlayStation Experience 2019.
>Meanwhile, the reveal of PlayStation 5 will be in Q2, 2019 claims the developer. The PS5 reveal will be minor, probably a tease, he says. PlayStation 5 release date is set in March or November 2020.
PlayStation 5 Specs
CPU 7nm Ryzen 8 core 16 threads GPU 7nm Navi architecture around 14TF 24GB Gddr6 + 4gb ddr4 for OS 2tb HDD 8k upscaling
The specs for PlayStation 5 will allow it to up-scale resolution to 8K. The console will be able to push 4K native resolution in most video games released for it, especially, in the launch line up. The developer also discussed PS5’s retail price which is going to be $499. According to his post, Sony will take $100 loss during the early stages of PlayStation 5’s launch.
>Sony is hosting PlayStation Experience in December 2019 where big announcements are expected. PlayStation Plus Premium details and price is likely to be discussed at PSX.
>GPU 7nm Navi architecture around 14TF Don't believe this. I think it's going to be about 11TF. Not 14TF. Also I don't believe in 500 USD price tag. I think 450 at most. And Sony will take a loss of 50-100 USD on each PS4 sold due to the PS+ money.

>PS Plus Premium
betatesting and paying for it, literally cuckoldry
Nicholas Martin
Not even a switchfag but try pirating switch games and see how well that works out without one.
>the ability to create private servers. >PS Plus Premium this is fucking insane. im a sonychad but if peer-to-peer is considered a premium im not buying this piece of shit unless it has full BC for PS4 and PS3
Nathan Morgan
>he specs for PlayStation 5 will allow it to up-scale resolution to 8K. Ok and what for?
Ayden Sanders
To play ps2 games on 8k
Juan Kelly
It’s not peer to peer servers, it’s rental servers like what Ark has only included for free and without the need to get a third party.
Andrew Gutierrez
so it could be compressed to 4k and stable 30fps huehuehuehuehue
The need for that super situational. It's also not worth paying some "super subscription" for.
Granted even if Premium literally did jack shit everyone on r/PS4 for example would still buy it. I think Sony must realize that. They've gotten away with so much shit this gen its ridiculous.
no you still pay for the multiplayer. I would have it so that you'll have multiplayer without ps plus and instead make ps plus a whole lot more premium so that ppl buy it anyways
Matthew Bell
not so fast dumb frogposter ps5 will be 8k and 60fps
Colton Jenkins
If it doesn't have BC, I don't give a shit and if it does have BC I better not have to buy any digital games I've bought over again
Christian Wood
>Q2 of 2019 So they'll show it at E3, righ-- OH NO NO NO
This is sucks bad for pc gamers, imagine the console port needing double the amount of vram for playable framerate.
Jonathan James
seething tendie
Benjamin Martin
more like 8k 144fps
Brayden King
maybe 16k and 120fps you autist.

Literally this fucking thing needs to do is deliver on that rumor that it can run PS1/2/3/4 games natively and it'll be worth it without even having its own games. If I can download the PSN games I have on my PS3&4 onto it then I'm getting it Day 1 and selling my other Playstations to get it.
This isn't fanboy shit, it's just consolidation. Having all my games plus being able to buy PS1/2 games for it and potentially being able to play delisted by still hosted games that I bought before they were pulled would be worth it. Somehow I doubt it will be that simple and good though.
Oh joy, Sony boldly moves in with next gen leaving current one with 3 games. Can't wait for shekel out 500 dollars for a brick made obsolete by obviously coming Pro ir slim version.
Before you go >b-but Nintendoh Like a goddamn clockwork, no, i don't own 3DS or Switch for same exact reason (I thought making a console named 3DS without 2 sticks was a crime)
>$499 Shit that's a lot of money. Waaaaay too expensive. They should have stuck with the "€399-worth subpar console" strategy. $499 is unacceptable. Microsoft will win next gen.
Oliver Powell
I almost forget: t. a Snoynegro
Cameron Jenkins
>30 fps Oh, so it's worthless.
Justin Brooks
PS Plus Plus?
Juan Bell
microsoft will have an even more expensive console, and cheaper console that will be literally weaker than the current mid-gen consoles
ps5 will be the golden standard
Ayden Martinez
>CPU 7nm Ryzen 8 core 16 threads Nope, 1st gen ryzen 5 AT BEST is all you're getting >GPU 7nm Navi architecture around 14TF It will be the vega 56 amd couldn't sell for shit, and you will like it >24GB Gddr6 + 4gb ddr4 for OS Not even windows takes that much ram to run normally also DDR6 isnt even out yet and the cost per GB will be outrageous at launch, even the current DDR4 is expensive for that much memory >2tb HDD >No ssd for OS or optane like tech >8k upscaling For what practical purpose? 8k won't be a thing in the next 5 years, 4K haven't even caught up yet
Ayden Harris
>all wojak edits are made by roaches >still insist that they're oppressed minority on a hostile board
Isaac Lopez
>$499 Dead on arrival.
Nicholas Brown
Salty pc fag
Brayden Richardson
Who fucking cares about 8k resolution just give fucking decent fps for fucks sake. Stupid fucking niggers.
