OP stuff didn't come out until after Lei Fang's release. The first being the Destiny Child collab outfits (high raw pow, stamina skills, fever skills), and then the Haruhi collab (high raw pow, stamina skills). Followed by the Nyo birthday outfit (highest raw pow ever, not sure if it has fever or sta skills). There are some decent ones with 5k stats, but garbo skills on them.

Around the same time, sr lotions and mountain climbing started coming. If you really want to be op, you're gonna have to swipe later on. The highest tier lotion only comes from swiping. Event lotions cap out at 5point pow/tec or 10sta each, while whale lotion is 15point. 15 point is around +250-300 stat depending on character. Using 3 whale lotions is +900.

4H+K also has decent range and causes fatal stun, setting you up for a launch and juggle combo.

Up + T is an offensive hold that also functions as a high jump and can be really effective as long as you judge the distance correctly.

Also back/down punch is a really good low punish when you're on the defense, and it can also chain into a low sweep kick
