I've been playing this game since early beta, I paid $30 for the game and I've never bought the in game subscription with real money. Making money in this game to get the premium is so fucking piss easy. You can literally go out and kill players as early as tier 4 gear and get enough money to buy your premium in like 2 hours in the black zones. Or you can literally run around breaking open treasure troves which give you items you turn in for money and exchange it for the premium gold and have enough for the 30 days in like 3-4 hours of simply running. Game is a lot of fun if you join a guild and do some small group pvp, have fun lads.

desu I'm glad they added this queue system. When the game initially launched they just let everyone in and the cities kept crashing due to having way too fucking many people in them. You'd either get dc'd immediately, the game would crash or you'd get teleported to some outlying town you didn't want to be at. This queue system is 100% necessary

I play in a guild with friends I've made in game we have about 15 people and we get in and out of the blackzone pretty easily. People do try to camp but normally not in very large groups unless there's some event happening that day.

you can sell them to the repair guy afaik, but if it's items you're crafting that you want to get rid of instead hit the study tab on the crafting bench and turm them into more crafting xp. It's way better than the 8 silver you'll receive

I bought into the fucking beta and holy shit was that a mistake. Albion was a prime example of what it looks like when you overdesign a game. Like holy shit all of the systems were designed to feed the core loop so efficiently that the game was the literal definition of soulless. Everything you did was about rank and optimal xp and the game fed you that info so perfectly that you didn't have to think, you'd just follow the numbers and do exactly what they had designed you should do. There was not even an illusion of freedom. Sure you could progress which ever way you wished to but each path had exactly the one designed way you'd level it up. The game was so tightly designed that player individuals weren't a variable in it. It could've as well played itself.

it's had a healhty population since launch, gvg is always populated and world pvp can be found even in blackzones before f2p

the pvp is fun, it draws in the same kind of people that games like runescape draws. You grind, get stronger, go kill people. There are also some pretty fun dungeons and shit to do and since it's a sandbox-ish style game you can kinda make money doing whatever you want. All auction houses are central to that area so you can run trade goods for money, you can go out and farm you can gank etc. it's pretty neat give it a try

For larger scale battles there are tried and true gear combinations for DPS players, but generally if you want to do damage you'll want to wear either cloth or leather armor because they give the biggest damage bonuses but their defense bonuses ain't that good.
There are no max targets for AoE's, so yea few good players can do some nasty damage if they manage to hit the same group of stacked up players.
