>From can't tell a coherent story
Honestly, after all these games I don't expect anything from them story wise. Just give me some good fights and that's it. Funny how they could hire like one fucking person to just check if everything is ok but nah, let's copy another enemy third time.

fuck off frodo

Is doing the secret snake ending for my first playtrough a good idea?

Just wait for the autist fan fiction lore to come out.

It has the most content so yeah.

You won't know all the steps to get the secret ending unless you've already read them

Yes, it and severance endings are pretty much complete in terms of boss battles and difficulty. Just don't forget to do all the stupid bullshit BEFORE the final fountainhead boss (including unlocking the "alternate" Hirata Estate).

Eh....what?

>Isshin first form is reaming my ass
>everyone says second and third are far worse

His first phase is easy, just parry, jump and do mikiri counters. Stay close, it's literally about making no mistakes to rip his posture fast.

done on second try, honestly had more trouble with first phase than second, last phase is a joke

You pretty much need to read a guide to get those endings, and it's possible to miss out on one of the toughest battles in the game when you go to a slightly different Hirata memory.

I already missed the eavesdropping. Tje only "secret" eavesdropping sequences i git was Emma calling the Sculptor and Orangutan and Isshin telling Emma that Genichiro will eventually come back.

So did i permanently missed the fight with father owl? Im already at Fountain Head Palace in the part where you find the giant carp.

>who kills you if you defeat genichiro after the tutorial
Genichiro kills you, just with help of Asina shinobi
>if you kill ape's centipede during the first fight, why does he come back
You can't really kill immortal things before getting mortal blade
>how did genichiro revive the first time if he didn't have the black mortal blade
You don't need mortal blade to be able to revive. He already went full nuclear to protect Asina, including drinking water that makes you immortal. He also got huge jobber willpower.
>what made the sculptor turn into the daemon of hatred?
Asina attack. There is literally signs something make him left his room. There is a lot of protect things that spooks shuras and onis, so it's more likely at moment when he left his room he already went full daemon
>when talking about immortality coming from the west, do they mean, european west, middle west, china west?
Not european west, since we already know Robert story, since he went to east because he got info about immortality.
>bad water
Probably chinks fault.

>who kills you if you defeat genichiro after the tutorial
My headcanon is that it was Owl, but it was probably just a Nightjar shinobi.
>wtf is up with the big snek
it's a rando god of the land
>why are mibu people literal zombies when monks have the centipide thing
They drank stagnant Fountainhead Palace water
>if you kill ape's centipede during the first fight, why does he come back
Only the Mortal Blade can kill them dummy
>who the fuck are the mist nobles
semi-divine beings that occasionally come to earth to abduct people
>what made the sculptor turn into the daemon of hatred?
He's a bloodthirsty motherfucker who was moments from becoming a Shura until Isshin cut off his arm.
>when talking about immortality coming from the west, do they mean, european west, middle west, china west?
Likely Korea since the Divine Dragon uses the seven branched sword

>tfw can't beat the ogre guy

Literally, the retard filter.

You're supposed to give him the Big Elbow from the top rope.

Don't get so close you dumbass.

>Being a literal brainlet

Never mind I beat him

>why was sekiro laying down like a retard in ashina reservoir
He thought he failed his master. He had no memory of the events in the Hirata estate after being killed by Owl, so from his perspective he just woke up in a pile of rubble with Kuro nowhere to be found. He likely went there to punish himself and it was only a coincidence that Kuro was taken to the tower nearby. I don't really get the 3 year timeskip though.

idk

why was this NPC so fucking useless?
He literally only existed to die in one way or another

That’s an interesting take, we never get an answer about why wolf was in the well for three years. Was he waiting to die and just didn’t because Kuro made him immortal, but he couldn’t tell how much time had passed? The Longsword shinobi shows up looking for a fight, presumably told by Owl or Genichiro, is this how Emma knew he was there? If Wolf thought Kuro had died it would explain him finding motivation to leave the well and protect him, but how did he end up in the well in the first place?

Sekiro has Bloodborne syndrome, the NPCs don't actually do anything of value.

you're a retard

Finally a fucking lore thread. So we can all assume that the Divine Dragon is a product of what happened in Yarnham, right? It takes place at the end of the Sengoku era which would place us in 1800 and Bloodborne takes place in around 1600/1700 based on the guns and Gothic architecture. Either the dragon is an old god, or he is a product of what Lawrence was ultimately looking for, elevation by blood

Not an argument.

intelligent people don't argue with retards

Sengoku period ended in 1603

You don't have a case, no one cares.

atleast sculptor, emma and isshin are actually doing stuff in the background, but other than that, you're kind of right

If Emma is at the Sculptor's place, I think you can still get it, as long as you don't fight the Dragon. Just eavesdrop on her and the sculptor from the back wall of the house, then talk to her and get the charm needed for Owl.

>when talking about immortality coming from the west, do they mean, european west, middle west, china west?

European west

The Sengoku period (戦国時代 Sengoku Jidai, "Age of Warring States"; c. 1467 – c. 1600) is a period in Japanese history marked by social upheaval, political intrigue and near-constant military conflict.
