not even the strongest black knight weapon
Axe is the best. It has a great moveset, surprisingly fast one handed attacks, and B strength scaling

Relax man it's a video game lol
>ruins your posture
But I worked hard to accomplish something in the game that you did with CHEATING! It makes me so angry!
he said it to a journo, so its not just a videogame, its the guys job.
ITT if you beat the game using one of these, you beat it unlegitimally.
Nocturne:
>Pic related
DS1:
>Drake Sword (up to Sen's)
DS2 (base game):
>Ring of soul protection
Final Fantasy V:
>X-Attack / Dual Wield
forgot pic related
it is the strongest black knight weapon
all of them are stupid strong for NG though
Why are people getting so mad using cheats in single player game?
I finished it using cheat engine and I certainly don't want to play it again
>Drake Sword is "unlegitimate"
>When you can just grab the Zweihander with ease then let it carry you through the entire game assuming you upgrade it
It has the highest base damage but only D scaling in strength. It's not even that much higher base damage wise, maybe 30 points
If you just wanted to see the game with zero effort, why even buy and play it? Why not watch someone better than you at that point?
Seriously, you and everyone like you missed out.
>Axe is the best
Not after it got nerfed into the dirt it isn't
Still a beast in dark souls 3 for whatever that's worth
well first of all you're a faggot.
but this is actually about a game journo bragging about cheating and how everybody should do it.
>this is what is becoming the next big copypasta
it's not even funny
This, I'm already tired of it
it mocks such a wide range of people that it even mocks the people that hate that first range
hit a bit too close to home this time didnt it
I'll add on to this
Demon Soul's:
>Firestorm (legit fucking easy mode that deletes every single boss in one or two hits at range, if you beat the game using this you just played a "enter boss fog and press cast once or twice" simulator
Dark Souls:
>using that one youtube strat vid for flame zweihander as soon as you hit firelink shrine (the amount of friends I've had who looked this up before they started the game and did this is just mindboggling)
Dark Souls 2/3:
>didn't play these enough to make an educated opinion on what's OP
Bloodborne:
>saw spear or saw cleaver
this deserves an upvote XDDD
>I finished it using cheat engine and I certainly don't want to play it again
I know this is bait but why the fuck would you even play at this point, just watch your favorite Twitch streamer play it then.
Man, sonic twitter just nailed that one
i dont give a shit about cheats in singleplayer games
and in multiplayer games they can be funny as fuck so i dont mind them there either
it's just this copypasta is taking off more than it should for a dude over reacting to a PC gamer article
You cheated not only the game, but yourself.

COPE
refer to
It's not bait.
Only used it to skip the bullshit sections.
And why the hell do you assume I'm a streamer watching zoomer?
BKH is ridiculously OP, it requires about 3 hits just to kill a gargoyle. It makes a joke of all the early bosses
Why are you trying to parry? Just make more use of sprinting.
No matter what it turns out to be, The Mark of the True Gamer in Sekiro is significant.
Before I say why I need to divide the Souls community into two general groups - True Gamers and Journos - and quickly define both.
Both have basically been around since Demon's Souls, but the very nature of the Journos demands that the True Gamers come first. Why? Because True Gamers beat the path and light the way. Afterward, like mold or a rot, the Journos seep into the community, ever at the heels of the True Gamers.
How is that? Either by a lack of information upon release or due to a self-imposed restriction, the True Gamers goes in blind. True Gamers embrace the challenge From Software has extended with each release in their Souls/Bloodborne Series while the Journos abhor it. While True Gamers scratched and clawed their way through levels and boss fights, the Journos poured over FAQs, Strategy Guides, Wiki Articles, Google Search Results, Let's Plays and How to Videos.
Therefore the Journos subsist by virtue of the illumination spread over From's games by the True Gamers, entirely dependent on it. Overtime they've let themselves forget this, fancying themselves old hands as they bring their borrowed knowledge and tactics to bear on each successive release.
And then here comes fucking Sekiro , reminding the Journos who they really are. And with little to no documentation in sight they hide behind shitposts so they can cling to that "gud" status they worked so hard to attain. Eventually they'll be back. Once the True Gamers have shown the way, that is.
And that's why The Mark of the True Gamer is significant. No matter how superficial, uselessly cosmetic or quickly outclassed it is, it stills says I'm not
So is this just the new gangweed?
Seething tryhard
Tfw I never cared to use saw cleaver or saw spear. I never liked the zweihander either.
I'll take steroids if I want.
DS3 is chaos bed vestiges and straight/long swords
Because you're basically watching a let's play at this point anyway
because you're obviously shit at videogames so what else are you doing with your computer besides shitposting?
This is actually pretty fucking accurate that pyromancy is pretty damn OP.
Because their pride and ego rests on this game. They have achieved nothing in life and need something to cling onto to convince them that they arent losers.
umbrella is overrated, only useful for status effect attacks like those of demon or shichimen/headless
otherwise why not just fucking deflect
Why are gamers so autistic?
smashfags and soulsniggers are lower than any other brand of nigger
After invading for over 2000 hours, I find myself questioning why I invade the way I do.
Very rarely do I wait for them to attack first, and even rarer do I return their bows. A feeling of disgust and revulsion at these players being alive, in human form, makes me treat them as violations to some natural law, under which they deserve to be chainstabbed, stunlocked, and/or peppered with poison arrows + Lloyd's talismans until death.
I get a lot of mail, not so much hate, but just asking why. Why me? What did I do? It's my job to kill them, to keep the prey under persecution in a time of empowerment, I guess. A law of averages given form and will, to kill any humans, strong or weak, many or alone.
Even in my own world, I find no peace. There are humans out there, living and breathing, and the balance needs to be restored.
I cheesed the munk first try after seeing a youbtuber do it. he said it took him 40 mins to figure out how to do the cheese
Are you writing an article justifying yourself for a hobbyist publication?
that sounds fun but why not use hidden body?
Seething soulsfags
>he doesn't know about the hilariously powerful follow-up that powers up even further from ranged attacks
>he doesn't know about the fact shield has more deflection frames
i'm the guy who made that post and maybe I should elaborate about saw spear and saw cleaver
they're not OP in the gamebreaking, sense, but they are the meta in terms of how strong they are compared to the other weapons
their R1
>comes out fast as fuck, finishes fast as fuck
>does comparable damage to all of the other weapons
>has great recovery that lets you dodge immediately after
>uses up close to no stamina per swing
as a result they encourage R1 spam playstyles that have almost no risk whatsoever, you can get up right up next to a boss, let off a buttload of R1 spams, and then dodge as soon as you see them attacking even if you're in the middle of spamming. you still need to learn enemy movesets but it's just boring as fuck and the entire game devolves into really safe R1 jabs.
Should be firecrackers instead
>wasting a valuable attunement slot on 15 seconds garbage
You're the one desperately trying to justify virtually playing the game as a VN as some accomplishment, yet I'm the seething one
I never liked them either way. I thought they were pretty boring weapons. Even for a game full of interesting transforming weapons.
>what else are you doing with your computer besides shitposting?
Playing IIDX, LR2 or emulating ps2 games
There's nothing else worth playing these days
No, what makes me angry is cheating and bragging about it in a fucking click bait article.
To me it just doesn't make sense to buy a game to essentially coast through as fast as possible. You're losing money the faster it goes. Even watching someone else play takes more time than breezing through with cheats.
that's not what he was saying, using the umbrella against him will destroy your posture even against the fireballs
You can parrry his non-fire side attacks, just make sure to dodge fire ones.
Same for SS Isshin in second phase, parry his sword attack, dodge his lance attack. Also makiri if possible.
>I thought they were pretty boring weapons.
basically. they're just no fun to use, every other weapon has a more interesting moveset, gimmick, or style, and actually has advantages or disadvantages that you need to play around. saw spear and saw cleaver just end up being perfect weapons with one perfect move that has no drawbacks and is useful in every single situation. people who play through the entire game using only saw spear or saw cleaver don't experience anywhere near the full experience that BB has to offer
Prove you are a Charmer
>Wanting to accumulate things
You need to find inner peace bro. Just learn to exist. The accumulation of things both tangible and intangible is only an illusion you use to deceive yourself from the truth.
You cheated not only the game, but yourself.
You didn't grow.
You didn't improve.
You took a shortcut and gained nothing.
You experienced a hollow victory.
Nothing was risked and nothing was gained.
It's sad that you don't know the difference
But I'm not bragging about achieving anything. I'm just playing a game how I want and that triggers you guys so much. I can't imagine how hard life must be with your ego being this fragile
Didn't feel like replaying the game, is it much harder than bell demon?
Oh I know you can. But for demon it's more to avoid damage if you find yourself under a stomp with no way to dodge and sword saint I got that mikiri down. Kinda had to or else I didn't keep the posture damage up well enough.
Who cares user. Its their money, why does it matter to you?
It's just weird that you're in this thread having a discussion at all. I wouldn't go in SC2 general and shit on mechanics after watching someone play it on stream.
>firecrackers
>hp, not posture kill
yikes
I liked using the whip, saif, church pick rakuyo and chikage. For strength I didn't hate having a strength arcane build for the holy moonlight sword.
The entire joke here is that people aren't mad because players are cheating, they're mad that people are cheating and writing clickbait articles about it.
bell demon is the harder hard mode
I never even used it. Did a blind playthrough so I missed demon of hatred tho. Probably would've used it for that fight.
I accidentally got hp kills each time because of his retarded lightning reversal, he begs you to chip off 25% hp each time.
>here's a thing that I say you did even though you didnt say that
What happens if you defeat Genichiro during the very first boss battle right after the introduction where you rescue the heir?
Do you get some sort of special reward / cinematic for it or does the game just do that "haha u lose anyways xd!!!" where it teleports you into the same loss cutscenes with him magically at full health and you magically all beaten up with your arm sliced off?
It's just kind of baffling. I mean some of them argue that it wasn't worth the money, but they act like it's a fault of the game. They can waste their money by doing it but faulting the game for it is unfair.
You would probable be killed by the Centepede if you don't reflect everything
>not posture kill
I was savoring the moment, the bar lowers itself even after he loses
You did, though. You're having shit opinions on Sekiro all over the place, and you didn't even play it.
Then why did you buy it in the first place. You should've just pirated it.
Anyone else legit not use any of these shitty prosthetics?
Literally just R1+L1 is needed, all the rest is noise
In the end eating a lightning reversal is just being an idiot. Reversal is a better option. It almost always leads to an HP kill but up to that point it's faster and safer to do posture kills.
No I didnt. Quote me.
Wasn't this pasta originally about Nioh?
never used the saif, ryukuyo, or chikage, but the threaded cane whip was an absolute top tier weapon, probably one of my favorites. especially doing a full arcane run, whip really shines there.
did you get a chance to play around with the wheel for your str-arc build? probably my second favorite weapon in the game, and on a str-arc build it just tears right through everything, especially when transformed.
Your post may be ironic but I unironically hope your mother dies in her sleep for producing such a massive sperg.
A bullshit cutscene where your arm still gets severed. All that effort for an altered scene that just makes you kinda mad.
>pays $40 for something
>cheats to see the story
>could of just watched a lets play
If you used any of the following:
>firecrackers
>Ichimonji
>run and poke strategies
>L1 spam
You didn't beat Sekiro.
>try Charm + Bell Demon for the first time in NG+++
>not too bad, get all the way to Isshin with minimal hiccups
>he's fucking impossible jesus christ
>remove bell demon after 4 hours of attempts
>beat him first try
I guess it counts
This, but also
>gourd upgrade
>attack power upgrade
>charm
>no bell demon
No I actually didn't that massive health drain with powering it up turned me off but I guess I never tested its damage output to see if worth it.
The feathered fuck throws a shuriken at you. Sekiro turns and deflects it but this gives Genichiro the opening he needs to cut off the arm.
A Nightjar throws a shuriken and Jobhiciro cuts your arm while you were deflect it
No rewards
but i did pirate it?
dont assume that the people who played sekiro bought the game in the first place.
>Ichimonji
It's not even that good
Your not wrong. Just Autistic.
fucking really, you don't even get a unique item or drop out of it? what a waste, total missed opportunity there, especially with from's track record of having early bosses that you can try to whittle down for some kind of reward. thanks user, looks like I can spare myself the time of loading up a new game to try that out for myself
Not sure is LARPing or genuinely autistic as fuck.
Same here, they made all these attacks but their impractical due to long recovery times and how it all cost spirit emblems makes me not want to use them except for the shuriken tree
based newfriend
Took me 7 hours even as someone who already beat the game twice
Firecracker +r1 a few times then repeat can pretty much kill a boss by itself.
>No I actually didn't that massive health drain with powering it up turned me off but I guess I never tested its damage output to see if worth it.
It's incredibly well worth it, it's one of those things where it's a fair drawback with an advantage that makes everything up for it. str-arc wheel with the right gems on it is one of the hardest-hitting weapons in the game. the dash attack for it comes out pretty fast and procs multiple times for an insane amount of damage, enough where in PVP it'll actually one-shot 70% of all player builds out there, 2 shot for anything else. that attack comes out really fucking fast too and has decent reach, it always catches people off guard when they see you using a slow moving weapon like the wheel and think you don't have any fast-hitting tricks up your sleeve
They trivialize so much shit in the game if you use them appropriately, and a lot are just fun to use.
Using Divine Abduction in Mt. Kongou was funny
You may have posted that reply to the wrong user.
People online
>"cheats don't matter because your performance doesn't matter in a single player game"
People online again
>"wow congrats on your platinum trophy!"
>sabimaru in the fountainhead
>finger whistle in the sunken valley
>divine abduction in the mountains
This game can be funny as shit when using the hard counter prosthetics. Doesn't stop the headless from being the worst enemy in a from game since Demons. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to take all their shit like tranquil walk and frenzy, then throw it on a chunky, unflinchable enemy?
If it's so good then why wasn't it part of your list? Not saying that to retroactively say you're a scrub or anything, just asking.
It's a video game, I'm playing it once and moving on to something else. This isn't a formative experience for my life you moron
Just always face toward him and just lay into him. They want to fist you and when they can't they go down a lot easier.
>be in drawing class
>teacher tells you to draw whatever you want, it's not gonna be graded just go wild
>you grab a gigantic stamp of mona liza and slap it on the paper
Nobody cares that you did but you're still the idiot who never drew a line on their own.
It's only one game until you do it a hundred more times.
The headless are fine. Gimmicky, sure, but they leave a long lasting impression and are completely optional.
Now Snake Eyes? That's a no fun enemy.
>play by the game's rules and win
>B-BUT THATS CHEATING
Dark Souls 2 were hexes
(You)
So it's a case of work smarter not harder then ?
Sekiro is so much easier than Souls that using anything other than R1 and L1 trivializes the game's challenge.
Because you only get the wheel in the last 3/4ths of the game, and to actually build it to the point of how I described it you need to be using a very specific build (str-arc with the right point distribution) that majority of first time players aren't going to use AND you need to find the right gems for it, which involves first finishing the story-generated chalice dungeons completely and then grinding for gems in RNG chalice dungeons after, something that can take another 5-10 hours of gameplay.
It's by no definition a weapon that shitters can use to carry themselves through the entire game, even if they do manage to get it in the last fourth of the game hoping it can help them cheese the rest of it the chalice dungeons and chalice dungeon bosses are harder than anything else found in the main game and they're going to have to slog through them without the fully upgraded wheel there to help them.
The str-arc + gem wheel configuration exists as nothing more than a really OP gimmick to fuck with people in PVP or to trivialize your NG+ runs, really just something for fucking around more than anything.
The funniest part of this webm is that he's a darkmoon having to invade because his covenant's dead
>relied on the shield to get through demon of hatred
>using the shield with no charm destroys your posture and you still get hurt by chip damage
It took me a while, but eventually I learned how to dodge that bullshit melee combo of his
Okay. That defiled chalice with the Amygdala was ass. And then the bloodletting beast with the centipede in it was also pretty shit. Yharnam herself was actually not too bad comparatively.
BASED
He's probably gonna be easy as fuck just like every other boss Yea Forums said was hard.
Madam Butterfly
>Average Souls boss.
Seven Spears
>Deflect a couple times, mikiri, wtf he's dead?
Snake eyes
>Did you know you can run infinitely in Sekiro?
Ape
>His attacks can't hit me when I'm in his face and don't track
wrong, you're bragging about literally achieving anything, otherwise you would not post about your nonachievements, you don't probably own a space rocket yet you don't brag about not having a space rocket, you don't play videogames but turn them into videos, yet you brag about it here on videogame board, why?
i heard they nerfed it but when ds2 came out all miracles were ridiculously OP
Except the dude didn't you moron, that's the whole point.
>That defiled chalice with the Amygdala was ass
I'll agree on the other bosses- hell most of the bosses in the chalice I had a lot of trouble with, but amy is a push over once you fight her once or twice. It didn't take long to figure out a good way to fight her for me. I forget exactly how the strat went since it's been ages since I played BB, but iirc if you run for her tail she'll ALWAYS do the move where she jumps in the air and lands with their head directly above you, then waits for a second or two. That jump move does no damage to you if you stand perfectly still, so you can loop a strategy of
>run to her tail
>stand still and wait for her to jump
>stand perfectly still until she lands
>hit her head a few times
>run to her tail and repeat
Nerfed doesn't describe it. They were fucking murdered.
damn, were they really that OP? I only played DaS2 and DaS3 once through each (for some reason they didn't pull me in anywhere near as much as DeS/DaS/BB did for multiple repeated playthroughs trying out new builds each time) and I think I did some bog standard generic longsword build for both. Never had a chance to try out miracles or hexes. What was so broken about them?
You can't even obtain Firestorm unless you find the extremely secret Witch in a level inaccessible until you kill one archdemon, you ridiculous scrub.
Some tools aren't needed, but they just make you as a shinobi look way cooler, such as stepping inches out of reach of a heavy attack, then using the shuriken throw + r1 follow up attack to close the distance much faster.
Then there is using the mist feathers to phase through projectiles and end up behind the enemy for a good attack round.
I also love bringing down the fire axe on enemy after I have jump/kicked them for using a sweep attack, just for extra damage and cool points.
Basically, I don't NEED prosthetic tools to win, but they sure as shit make me look way cooler when i do.
you're acting like the kind of faggots who cheese games don't play with a guide in hand telling them exactly what to do
as soon as guides/walkthroughs started coming out for DeS the game was flooded with retards who wanted the cred of beating the game without any real hard work, who would do everything possible to rush for firestorm as early as they could before using it to cheese the rest of the game.
the kind of faggots who do shit like that don't play the game blind
source: all of my faggot friends who can't play a single game without a handholding walkthrough or looking up the most meta build to carry their asses
good one m8
People follow guides. The most challenging thing in Stonefang is the Flamelurker, after which you can do the game's easiest boss before going to get Yuria. After that, you don't even have to do anything else since Firestorm comes from Dragon God's soul, which you already have. If you're following a guide you're probably also using magic, so Tower Knight will go down without any risk. That's five bosses; the tutorial one, one that is easily cheesed, two that are destroyed by magic, and a glorified cutscene boss. From there, practically anyone can use Firestorm to destroy the rest of the game.
That's the weapon I used for my first dark souls play-through going in blind
I didnt brag about anything you tard thats your imagination
>Bloodborne
>not Ludwig's Holy Blade
that thing is too fucking strong for when you can get it
